@jf391 I had to read that book to get through trauma and what not. Everyone reacts to trauma differently, you cant put a stereotype on it. When I went through trauma, I got depressed, attempted suicide multiple times, cut myself, ran away, and lived in a fantasy land. My therapist said he was shocked I was never cruel to animals or hurt people. Everyone handles trauma differently,

Not only is this video one sided and stereotypical, but it also lacks in actual psychology. These kids aren't evil, they have their reasons and they have reasons behind those reasons. A good psychology project would have listed those instead of trying to level little kids. For example it could use Freud's child development theories to suggest an analyzation theory of your own.
this isn't "true" human nature. it's one aspect of "human" nature. if a child is prone to psychopathic behavior - that is, if a child has psychopathic traits - they may kill others if they are abused. not all people with psychopathic be come killers. at best, they be come smooth talking inidviduals who may or may not do "immoral" things. but they're not necessarily any more or less "mmoral" than any one else. but if people with these traits are abused - then they can and will be come dangerous.

To those that are saying that these actions are the results of these children being mistreated by parents, etc. Read "The Child Called It" there was a boy that was tortured. He didn't turn around and do it to someone else, he didn't get plessure from hurting others. These kids were bad children. That's all there is to it. Some, I will accept, were damaged from the begging due to whatever gene deffect, but the rest just made a choice knowing it was wrong, but had no consideration for anyone else

@jf391 I had to read that book to get through trauma and what not. Everyone reacts to trauma differently, you cant put a stereotype on it. When I went through trauma, I got depressed, attempted suicide multiple times, cut myself, ran away, and lived in a fantasy land. My therapist said he was shocked I was never cruel to animals or hurt people. Everyone handles trauma differently,

It is the parents job to show that child how to grow from the Imperial self stage to the Interpersonal period it is this moment in time where conscience is born and the potential for guilt and shame arises, as well as the potential for empathy. I honestly hve to say calling these children 'evil' is a sin. This video makes me sick, not because of what the children done, but that many of this happened over a decade ago and yet they are still being openly punished even though most will never get to grow up happy and all have lost their adolescents and the best time of their lives.

the king brothers were living on the street over from me when this happend. ill never forget it. i awoke in the night to feed my daughter and saw the house fire. i called 911 and obviously at the same time the neighbor across the street was on a 911 call himself. it was a shock to our neighborhood and community to say the least. thier father was a nice man. he tried everything to help his boys when he got custody of them. guess the damage had already been done.

Not only is this video one sided and stereotypical, but it also lacks in actual psychology. These kids aren't evil, they have their reasons and they have reasons behind those reasons. A good psychology project would have listed those instead of trying to level little kids. For example it could use Freud's child development theories to suggest an analyzation theory of your own.

this isn't "true" human nature. it's one aspect of "human" nature. if a child is prone to psychopathic behavior - that is, if a child has psychopathic traits - they may kill others if they are abused. not all people with psychopathic be come killers. at best, they be come smooth talking inidviduals who may or may not do "immoral" things. but they're not necessarily any more or less "mmoral" than any one else. but if people with these traits are abused - then they can and will be come dangerous.

i can completely understand how they could do it, because as a 4 year old child i was raped at my grandparents house by a 6 year old i tried to tell my mum and grandparents and they refused to listen to me 2 weeks later i started wetting the bed due to trauma, i had no idea why at the time i thought he broke me, because my grandpa was a prick he started belting me with his belt buckle against my bear but and accused me of being to lazy to get up and go to the toilet this went on for years..

@cagalli85 - yes but there is increasing evidence that a child who is born with a predisposition for sociopathy exposed to a high level of abuse can have a difficult, and sometimes impossible, time processing emotions like guilt, empathy, sorrow, and love. There is physical evidence to support this via neurological scans. They show that the part of the brain that deals with complex emotions seem to be underdeveloped.
