Hawking is an infantile speculist. Civilization itself is still an infant. The ingredients necessary for understanding God have not been found yet. There are many modes or states of sentience achievable that wont get discovered for a long time. Who's to say that God didn't achieve a much higher intellect and the will to conjure our reality. Of course it would also be true that God would have a god of his own. Then THAT god would also have a god, and so on.....
What is inward revolution? Change completely! - both psychologically and outwardly. First the psychological revolution, not evolution, but revolution, change completely. That is the real action of humankind, not trying to fiddle around on the periphery.
That the universe could have popped into existence without violating the known laws of nature as proven by quantum mechanics. This is the premise that leads him to conclude God is't needed.
I would have to understand more about the quantum mechanics in which particles fizzle in and out of existence. It would make sense that our universe is just as these particles, if it is just as Hawkins presents. He says our universe was smaller than a proton. If all this is still natural law I still do not dismiss God as existing, because this explanation as to how does not address why. This is inspiring and only increases my excitement for what God has created for us.
So basically, the Big Bang happened for absolutely no reason? Just out of the blue, because it just happened that way? What I don't understand is, how is that more plausible than a creator or other deity? Because they both sound like two sides of the same coin
@MacDaddyBlack546 They are different. Science doesn't claim to know exactly how it all went down, but we do know that a universe, in fact, WOULD spring out of nothingness. It's not very intuitive, but that's normal for deep physics. The math works out. A creator just bring up more questions. Who created the creator? Why did the creator need no time to exist? etc etc.
@MacDaddyBlack546 Bottom line: just because we don't necessarily have all the answers is justification to believe in a celestial dictatorship without a shred of evidence. We know an event we term the Big Bang occurred some 14 billion years ago. Was it the creation of the entire universe or simply our portion of the universe? We don't know for sure yet but equating it to a celestial dictatorship is plain ignorance without a shred of evidence.
Science says in about 5 or 10 billion years the sun will explode, destroying most planets but making another able to breed life on. A planet that is incapable of doing that now, I believe it was Saturn or Jupiter [I forgot]. So I think that is what previously happened since life is unpredictable but at the same time seems to find full circle somewhere. So a previous energyforce like a sun just run out, destroying & creating a capable situation for new life [just a thought]
Hawking might be on to something here. We're discovering more and more about the universe and how we all came to be. If a god or a creator exist will always be a question among us all thou I think science have proven something the bible never could. Have a nice day
@cuagrimag no, I have heard of the idea that matter can spontaneously come into existence on a quantum level, and the idea that it's everywhere at once. I've heard these things, but I've never seen it, and neither have you. We have no real idea why these things happen, if they actually happen at all. Our technology is not good enough to prove these ideas, and throw out Newtonian physics completely based on not much at all.
@leakyweather your comments say alot about the type person you are. Sometimes people like you make me want to believe in evolution because with comments and insults in your posts, they have to be coming from a primate mind in need of evolution!
@Vindicaor Aren't we very primitive, barbarous? So I am asking if you will consider whether there is psychological evolution at all? I question it. I would say there is no psychological evolution: there is only the ending of sorrow, of pain, anxiety, loneliness, despair and all that. Man has lived with it for a million years. And if we rely on time, which is thought - time and thought go together - if we rely on evolution then another thousand years or more, and we will still be barbarous.
I wonder--if black holes are the result of the big bang and therefore can the infinite number of black holes in the observable universe then be the negative point of energy balancing out the binary equation equally to zero?
@humblejumpify There aren't an infinite amount of black holes in the observable universe. There aren't even an infinite amount of stars in the observable universe.
you walk to world with blinkers on your eyes called the bible like blinkers you put on horses take them off and the horse see a lot more. Take off your blinkers and stop removing my post just because I do not worship something unintangible. I worship NOTHING. I only live love and die WE ARE GOD and no one else.
If there is no God then how were we created? The bible will tell you clearly how.
As for the theory of evolution, it has been proven mathematically impossible by so called natural selection! On that note it has been concluded that were intelligently designed. If you want to believe we were created naturally or by some aliens - thats entirely up to you. I know for a fact there is Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour! Go get a Kings James Bible and read it see for yourself. God Bless.
@Vindicaor There is clear indications that natural selection does not have a "purpose" or "reason" in order to keep the physically fit (or, in our case, mentally fit) as a surviving species. Technically, the "survival of the fittest" puts the terms of "fittest" to equate to mating - the fittest therefore have the most progeny. Also, there has yet to be substantial evidence from Creationists that support the claim of an intelligent designer; only attempts to undermine science.
There are lots of theories bout the big bang, one of which can be found in string theory. In a nut shell: the universe consists of many dimensions existing simultaneously, at one point the dimensions collided & we had the big bang.
I understand it sounds sort of preposterous, but think how preposterous germs sounded to 18th century doctors...
Science cant even tell us how the prophecies in the bible are unfolding in our very eyes everyday, but they can tell us how we began and there is no god? Ill follow jesus christ and the bible thank you very much.
@Vindicaor Just because it's hard for your head to wrap around the idea, doesn't mean people who specialize in the area don't either. Also, the next time you're sick, stay in your room, pray to Jesus, and do some superstitious tribal dance; don't come running to daddy science to help you.
@theblackmonkey1700 I couldn;t find your comment here to reply it but, so i thought I answer in a new msg. Listen read it, if its not for you then good luck to you.
well, if the big bang was created by particles...where exactly did those particles come from? i cannot assure people that God exists...but i think that its logical that he does. after all, God himself is a scientist. Well....by logic, i believe that God exists, but who truly knows?
@YTLyricsMaker you didn't pay attention didn't you. The big bang was the cause, there was no effect before it, it was just space, mass and density, mass=positive space=negative, the particles is a unit of mass, and mass came from nothing
@YTLyricsMaker It is clearly explained in the video that nothing caused the Big Bang, 'cause Time did not exist prior to it. Thinking something or someone created it is wrong since there wasn't Time for them to created it. Like the protons that appear and disappear from nothing, the universe follows the same rules. No Physic Law is violated in the idea of Big Bang, which is creation from nothing and no reason at all (no cause).
@shehroonz energy and mass is the same (as they pointed out in the documentary). They also said how you can get energy from nothing which yields nothing (i.e. 0 = -1 + 1 which they used the digging analogy for). In essence, "nothing" can split into positive and negative energies spontaneously (which they also addressed). From this basic idea you get everything that you see. In all, this universe is basically nothing once everything in it is added up.
Thing is science says there is no proof of soul after death, wait there's enough evidence to proove evil exists, spirits, fortune tellers, un explained exorcism, etc it's reality in certain places. If that exists then so does good GOD :).
from zero to zero .. that is the conculsion of the video ... but who make that zero produce +ve & +ve energy ... & what is the limits of this ..& if we supposed that -ve is the space(void) so in the borders of it will have a great black hole(zero) that will pull the stars(+ve) & the space (-ve) out & will not let the inner black hole to collect it again ... why the -ve(void) did not depleat +ve(energy) as fast as the difference between them ..& Allowing it to perform matter
god has to be and it exists. if not its just meaningless. it exists it created ur consciousness so u think big bang happened. think that even earliest men could think that this universe must have been begun from a point.science improved ,improved and came to the same point. and every man can think there must be a external think that created universe. this is normal and predictable thing but humans are skeptical of course until end no problem with that.
@theblackmonkey1700 "it scares people to think that when they die nothing happens" really eh? nothing? how can nothing happen? On that note, how can something (me) become nothing? it is no less inconceivable how nothing can become something, which according to Hawkins is how the universe came into existence, from nothing. To me that is illogical and Hawkins is a poor philosopher.
People say that Hawking can only move one little muscle in his cheek. But the guy has kids-- so it sounds like he can move at least one other muscle! LOL!
it justs scares people to think that when they die nothing happens. they can't live forever. and religious leaders took advantage of that fear to create rules for other people that would make them powerful and a religion where they would be respected by many people forever. people are just being ignorant because they want to think they will go somewhere after they die. i wasn't here for billions of years before i was born. that doesn't worry me.
if you dont want to waste 42 mn of your life: God doesnt exist because science is based on evidencen and religion is not. DUH Stevie youre such a great philosopher.
Does this mean that other universes could be created from black holes that exist in our own? AND SECOND QUESTION If, hypothetically, a human was able to travel into or near a black hole and not be destroyed, could he describe the reality of the experience to others? If "time" is the period between one point and another how could a visit to a timeless void be expressed in words?
@TheArdentDeity Hello, Christian-and-proud science lover here. As one other Youtuber posted, I shall post what Voltaire has said: "I may despise what you say, but I will defend your right to say it to the death." I am just fine with your Atheist views, however I am a bit unhappy with your squashing of Eld's views. To say that someone lives a delusional life for possessing the optmistic hope of life after death is not only brash but offensive and rude. :\ Believe in what you want & let us do so.
@defenderfortheEld I'm assuming you're a believe in God right & this video angers you because science is proving there is no God & the best you can do is ask the uploader to disable the comments so people can't debate if this theory is true or not? Well guess what, God doesn't exist. Okay. When we die we're dead. No heaven or hell. You live a delusional life.
@FilipH86 that's because time and space are essentially the same thing, gravity affects space and therefore time. a black hole has a gravitational force so massive that it reduces the space surrounding it to a single infinitesimal point, that means it turns space into nothing and we know that if there is no space there can be no time, which leads to the conclusion that there is no time in a black hole. hope that helped
This video confuses me. I still think that their is a god even though I have seen this video but it's hard to think that were all here on Earth just as an "accident."
Dear TheSass1 please disable and remove comments from this video. Youtube is not the place to be having scientifically and philosophical debates or arguments. There are reasons why this was put onto TV and that is because A) Yes Stephen Hawking did share his beliefs and it made headlines, but it was put on TV so people could understand his beliefs but (I believe) the major reason was
B) It is controversial. Discovery knew it would get people to watch it's program and boost ratings. The law of the business world, earn a dollar. People need to talk about this face to face with their friends, families, enemies, not random people they have never or will never see on a website.
So if time doesn't exist within a black hole that means that "nothing" is actually something. I mean, there is nothing & than there is "nothing". So "nothing" is actually something! Someone please tell me they understand me.
@TheArdentDeity i once came across this idea in my mind (kind off), i was thinking that even we are left with absolutely nothing this nothing makes up a world: a world of nothingness. Axiomatically i would suggest that even if this world would cease to exist then all that will be left will be the same world of nothingness again.
The belief, (and it is nothing more than a belief) that the universe began at the big bang requires ignoring the law of causality. Every action has an equal and opposite reaction. Every effect has a cause, and that one had a cause, and so on forever. Therefore the big crunch caused the big bang, and always has, or at the very least, the universe and time is eternal. It makes sense, there is no reason to believe that isn't the truth, as it's very simple. What goes up, must come down.
@SocialPromotionTips you are referring to newtonian physics, which were refuted by quantum physics. in quantum physics there is no such thing as laws of casuality, matter appears from nothing and disappears into nothing spontaniously. same can be said for nuclear reactions, they are unpredictable because they have no cause. you should inform yourself before making such an arrogant and yet flawed statement with your limited basis of physics.
Despite him being the strongest of atheists, he is very respectful of people who believe in a God. I respect him a lot for that. That is true tolerance.
The part about time is flawed. Time is abstract not materialistic. Time is the gradual passing of moments. A clock is a measured representation of time. For a clock to work, its needs energy to move its gears. A black hole slows down and stops this MOVEMENT, not time itself. Ta-da!
@MuddyCreates Yeah, let's disregard the thousands of renowned scientists that have time and time again proved otherwise, we should listen to this random guy on youtube!
I understand where God or gods comes from: once humans started to become smart enough to not just think like other animals (eat, drink, reproduce) wouldn't it be very scary to just look around a realise it all? Why is wind touching my skin? Why are the clouds swirling around? Why? Your first thought is that something or someone has to be making it happen- that's what God is. But once you realise that not everything needs someONE to make it happen all it needs is force: gravity, momentum, etc.
If you believe in God or Allah, then that's a choice that comes from the fear of death. People believe in different faiths for only one purpose "to be saved after death or have a new eternal and happy life after death or to avoid the painful hell".
I would say there is nothing after death. If we want to be alive forever then we should protect earth because through our kids we pass a part of us that will always be us. When you see someone who have a heart like you and thinks like you, it is you.
@kesterblynt Death is forever and life is temporary (a trial), but the book is available (quran) read the quran and see if all these Muslims are wasting their time.
There should be something that started everything in the cosmos, the Big Bang was just the highest range for human capacity in discovering for now.
I say we could be a part of much more complex than our own universe, I can't tell it's God or much intelligent species or a very complex physics than time itself, I could only say there is something else
But one thing is for sure. If all human seek for an exact answer rather than expressing complex thoughts, we surely can acquire the truth.
so i was thinking if everything is 0.and the absence of something is equal to itself. then the absence of light is darkness and if you measure the width of a shadow you will find that there is no width, so therefore it is a 2d object in a 3d world and by the logic of what i said earlier then light has too be a 2d object in a 3d world also.
Extraordinary video! Well-written, beautiful design, excellent graphics, and accessible story. Anyone watching this video, and perhaps supplementing with the views of other cosmologists, would come to the conclusion that one need not posit a "god" for the Cosmos to exist. The "god did it" explanation is certainly not the one best supported by the evidence. Prof Hawking's ideas are entirely consistent with all of the verifiable evidence that we've obtained to date.
but in the end, I for one, respect your choice, and your right to choose, regardless of our difference in opinion. as Voltaire put it 'I may despise what you say, but I will defend your right to say it to the death'
but what is time? time, in my terms, is a means to measure the instants among us, we have only a very limited understanding of all this, we are not all knowers, or even certain of this. this is a theory I believe that god works in his own way, through his own means, he works through a dimension of time unbeknownst to us mortals, our minds, at least at this stage, is too weak to even begin to comprehend such an idea, but something in me says its possible. We are all free to choose what we believe
the universe adds up to nothing, I get that, but the digger dug a hole to form the positive (hill) and the negative (hole) he never added the hole to the hill, if he did, yes there would be no hole or hill thus having 0, but the digger represents god, if the digger did not dig to start with, there would be no hill hence universe, which equals 0, god did not bury the hole just as the digger didn't thus meaning that even though the universe adds up to 0, someone had to make the positive amount
stressed by NASA and other leading space organizations? how could an illiterate, Arab from the middle ages come to such conclusions when his people bowed down to statues made of dates? Surely a god exists, either that or an orphan who never went to school somehow understood the universe randomly, and accurately, without using any form of research or scientific work what so ever.
also, I would like to stress that we mortals have made sense of our universe by creating the three laws through our constant observation, this observation came from the universe, the universe came from a big bang not encountered by science until very recently whereas it has been encountered by a man in the 7th century named Muhammad who, according to Islam, was told of it in the holy book the Quran. surely someone had to tell him of this? or that space is expanding, or getting bigger as recently
I'm just wondering here, but why does Stephen only refer to Christianity when he speaks of religion and god? yes he spoke of ancient polytheism but why does he not speak of Judaism in Islam which are both monotheistic.
If there is no god, scientists should be able to explain why exactly those substances came out of nowhere? Why hydrogen and etc. . . Also scientists should be able to explain what does "nowhere" mean. I will soon go to the university on the faculty of Physics and may be I will find answers to the questions which i just asked
@111tato Scientists know where hydrogen, and in fact all the elements 'came from'. What do you mean by nowhere?
I think you have no idea what you are trying to ask, so you will be unable to get an answer. If you go to a university and ask someone to explain to you where elements came from they will laugh at you and tell you to go to the library. Hint, the standard model of physics provides all the building blocs needed for H and He. Everything else is star dust.
i think sthephen is being too arrogant , you can expect that there is nothig bigger than us , than the universe , i personaly think that , god may be present on a molecular level , something like the spark that turns on the fire
Stephen Hawking makes virtually every other human on this planet look like a complete failure. He’s suffered from a debilitating motor neuron disease (ALS- Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) since his early twenties, yet has become of one of the greatest scientists who ever lived. His contributions to human knowledge will NEVER be forgotten, as long as there are humans to remember. It really forces you ask yourself, “what the hell have I done with my life?”
My knowledge is very limited so sorry if I make any errors, but since God whom I call Allah created and "controls" everything (laws & dimensions) that is in the universe including "time", space and matter, then the laws (time) do NOT apply to Himself (simply because he created and controls them), which means God lives in a timeless world (ageless) and had no beginning and has no end. Since matter/energy is His creation and controls it, then He is not made from it (explains why we can;t see him).
@TheSasss1 You ask for delusion i ask you science is so smart if it would tell us whats the origin of basic forces of nature like from where Gravitational force come?Antagonistic views on Electromagnetism from Oesterd and Ampere.Science contradicts within.Even Einstein said "science is blind without religion'.it seems to be Illuminati's ideology that stood against church. Its total nonesense by saying universe got created by itself. Will you make a simplest element atom like Hydrogen from none??
@TheEquinox007 Science doesn't answer questions it's a way of asking them.
Say you house burns down. I can tell there was a house probably by the remains that are left. I can probably find were a few things are by it's foundation. I cannot however recreate the painting in your living room.
Asking questions is good it's how you learn nifty things. Retarding questions with previous assumptive reasoning however doesn't answer anything, or give new questions to ask. It's writhing in ones ignorance.
@ransombot If science fails to answer basic questions then whats the gain.If i know the total number of stars in sky, number of cells in human body and dont know who created me and what will happen to me after death thats the epic fail indeed. You have to believe in god perhaps he shown us the right path by which we can get real success..
@TheEquinox007 If god fails to answer your prayers do you stop praying?
Did you read to what I said about science not answering questions? Look up the basics of scientific methodology. Theory answers things biased on scientific tested methodology. It's the practical application of applied logic. There are very few "facts" in a world as complex and marvelous as ours.
Death is easy you rot, or you are embalmed and sealed in a shell. There's some interesting experiments done on dogs in Russia.
You believe god created everything? what about him self and all the billions of stars there are out there too. And also science have proved that the earth is a heck older than the 1000 years or something the bible says.
@crillecool evidences are there but you have to believe.belief is the basic thing.for the instance an idea about human embryology.you can study it in Quran part 18.told some 1400 years ago.today medical science proves it as it is.its also mentioned how solar system is and the orbital motion of planets and stars in part 22.Quran isnt book for telling us basic natural phenomena but a guide to real success in this world and hereafter.there is a life after death for reward of good and bad
@TheEquinox007 FYI, Einstein never believed in a humanistic model of God. He even said that it was an abomination. He instead believed in Spinoza's God.
@MrLoui318 Ah, he is who he is. I can not believe that that the entire universe was a mistake that nothing created everything by it self there must be something or someone to act upon it self to create everything. Do you really believe the universe, the Earth, humans, you, me, everything and everyone is made up of something that was nothing made into everything hard to believe just it is hard to grasp at the possibility of God. But yet God happened
@TheSasss1 I actually have evidence, the only link. Although our eye sight is limited to a specific frequency range (we can't see all matter let alone someone not made from matter), but that evidence is the Quran, He has written it at a level so that we can understand it. Read it, if it doesn;t answer your question then continue with what you were following. Thats all I can say to you. Good luck.
@OddLion "The evidence for God is his holy scripture" -> "His holy scripture is true because he wrote it." -> "The holy scripture is proof of his existence." -> "It is true because he wrote it."
Have fun with your circular reasoning. CLAIMS ARE NOT EVIDENCE.
@Kiwanja look i am not here to force you to belive, read all of it (the whole quran), if it doesn;t answer your questions then follow what you used to follow.
@TheSasss1 You know, I'm an atheist and all, but the reasoning that a god is the answer to 'why' and not to 'how' is perfectly reasonable to me. I don't believe it, but it's okay logically.
The information contained in the DNA can't be created, as the minimal description, or Kolmogorov complexity can only decrease. It proves that information was there even before the existence of the universe, and it had to be transmitted after since no information can pass through the singularity of the big bang.
Also, the existence of the human self-awareness (you are the spectator of your actions, in opposition with a computer) is a proof that the world is not 100% what we can see and explain. Self-awareness under this definition cannot and will never be explained by science.
@TheSasss1 there are evidences, but each people has its own and if someone tells another person what he "saw" they wont believe him. You may not believe, but I do
@OddLion everthing Hawking just said is backed by evidence. Not a single word you said is backed by evidence. You should believe in something because you understand it, not because nobody can disprove it. Because if the latter was true, then I could say I'm god and you'd have to believe me.
@jazzmaster31 My question to you is this. Doesn't it make you sad, isn't it disheartening that there is nothing after death, as you believe. You believe that once a person has passed, they are gone. No feeling, no thought, no life, am i correct. I don't understand how someone could truly believe something so miserable and sad. I just cannot bring myself to believe that. The essence of faith, my friend, is that proof or evidence is not needed, the belief comes from the heart.
@crillecool actually if you want to play that game faith does not come from the brain. The feelings one gets from faith comes, yes, from the brain but thoughts stay there. Faith does not leave the brain. The brain acts as a control center of the body. That does not, however, change the fact that my question has not been answered. Please answer it.
I beleive that time does affect god, but however, although he is the creator of this, and he can do as he wishes, the lord works in mysterious ways, ways beyond mortal comprehension. If god does not exist, how did we come to be? how did our perfect universe come to be? and how did our minds develop such a capacity to think in this way, and how did the universe become so vast and infinite, such questions require an explanation, and I'm happy to call mine god.
@OddLion Your God Allah is also called Yahweh. He is the God of the old testament. Back then he used to come and visit us all the time apparently. Talking to people and smiting others. That sort of blows your argument away and that is coming from the man himself apparently.
@Connorchatfield Old testament? I am Muslim talk about the Quran. Your going off the subject and I don;t see how your words blew off my argument. Hawkings is saying that the key to removing a grand designer is "time". I am saying if you want to talk about God he lives in a timeless world and since He is the creator of the universe including "time" then he is in full control of his creation including time..... And talking to people and smiting others? did you read this the old testament?
@freestyle1skeir1matt No need to be upset, because I am not forcing you to believe in God im just telling you there is more than just the observable universe. Hawking thinks the role of time can remove a grand designer, (time was part of the Big Bang/silent package God created). However, google this from the Quran [Al-Anbiya 21:30] written 1400 year ago.
"the world through its wisdom didn't know God, it was God's good pleasure through the foolishness of the preaching to save those who believe."
"God chose the foolish things of the world that he might put to shame those who are wise. God chose the weak things of the world, that he might put to shame the things that are strong;" - 1 Corinthians 1
@OddLion We are only god! Other then that god has not done much for us. What has he ever done for you? We have done all the doing have we not? This video and other science is trying to actually show you how things happen and we do not accept. Even when it is shown we still hold on to what we believe to know. So I just ask you since you are more comfortable with something you cant show me outside the mind. Ask yourself what has god done for man? But man has killed endlessly for god.
@leakyweather We want rule ours selves not be ruled by a God for we want be are own god thats why we can choose to belivea in a theory insted of God because it hold no rule over us humans are the most rebellious of all creation.
we do not realize we are god. See the fact ( The observer is the observed) (you are the world and the world is you) That is factthere is nothing else. What a beautiful thing isnt it ?
Hawking is an infantile speculist. Civilization itself is still an infant. The ingredients necessary for understanding God have not been found yet. @cuagrimag no, I have heard of the idea that matter can spontaneously come into existence on a quantum level, and the idea that it's everywhere at once. I've heard these things, but I've never seen it, and neither have you. We have no real idea why these things happen, if they actually happen at all.

@YTLyricsMaker you didn't pay attention didn't you. The big bang was the cause, there was no effect before it, it was just space, mass and density, mass=positive space=negative, the particles is a unit of mass, and mass came from nothing

WereThe0ne 4 days ago
@YTLyricsMaker It is clearly explained in the video that nothing caused the Big Bang, 'cause Time did not exist prior to it. Thinking something or someone created it is wrong since there wasn't Time for them to created it. Like the protons that appear and disappear from nothing, the universe follows the same rules. No Physic Law is violated in the idea of Big Bang, which is creation from nothing and no reason at all (no cause).

@YTLyricsMaker .Where exactly did those particles come from?.. This is the basic question i didn't find the answer in the documentary.
shehroonz 3 days ago
@shehroonz energy and mass is the same (as they pointed out in the documentary). They also said how you can get energy from nothing which yields nothing (i.e. 0 = -1 + 1 which they used the digging analogy for). In essence, "nothing" can split into positive and negative energies spontaneously (which they also addressed). From this basic idea you get everything that you see. In all, this universe is basically nothing once everything in it is added up.

I still don't understand how time does not exist inside a black hole? And how do they even know that?
FilipH86 1 week ago
@FilipH86 that's because time and space are essentially the same thing, gravity affects space and therefore time. a black hole has a gravitational force so massive that it reduces the space surrounding it to a single infinitesimal point, that means it turns space into nothing and we know that if there is no space there can be no time, which leads to the conclusion that there is no time in a black hole. hope that helped

SocialPromotionTips 1 week ago
@SocialPromotionTips you are referring to newtonian physics, which were refuted by quantum physics. in quantum physics there is no such thing as laws of casuality, matter appears from nothing and disappears into nothing spontaniously. same can be said for nuclear reactions, they are unpredictable because they have no cause. you should inform yourself before making such an arrogant and yet flawed statement with your limited basis of physics.

The part about time is flawed. Time is abstract not materialistic. Time is the gradual passing of moments. A clock is a measured representation of time. For a clock to work, its needs energy to move its gears. A black hole slows down and stops this MOVEMENT, not time itself. Ta-da!

But once you realise that not everything needs someONE to make it happen all it needs is force: gravity, momentum, etc.
ibesweetp2 1 week ago
If you believe in God or Allah, then that's a choice that comes from the fear of death. People believe in different faiths for only one purpose "to be saved after death or have a new eternal and happy life after death or to avoid the painful hell".
I would say there is nothing after death. If we want to be alive forever then we should protect earth because through our kids we pass a part of us that will always be us. When you see someone who have a heart like you and thinks like you, it is you.

If all human seek for an exact answer rather than expressing complex thoughts, we surely can acquire the truth.
kesterblynt 1 week ago
so i was thinking if everything is 0.and the absence of something is equal to itself. then the absence of light is darkness and if you measure the width of a shadow you will find that there is no width, so therefore it is a 2d object in a 3d world and by the logic of what i said earlier then light has too be a 2d object in a 3d world also.

Prof Hawking's ideas are entirely consistent with all of the verifiable evidence that we've obtained to date.

but what is time? time, in my terms, is a means to measure the instants among us, we have only a very limited understanding of all this, we are not all knowers, or even certain of this. this is a theory I believe that god works in his own way, through his own means, he works through a dimension of time unbeknownst to us mortals, our minds, at least at this stage, is too weak to even begin to comprehend such an idea, but something in me says its possible. We are all free to choose what we believe

RandomUploader7 1 week ago
also, I would like to stress that we mortals have made sense of our universe by creating the three laws through our constant observation, this observation came from the universe, the universe came from a big bang not encountered by science until very recently whereas it has been encountered by a man in the 7th century named Muhammad who, according to Islam, was told of it in the holy book the Quran. surely someone had to tell him of this? or that space is expanding, or getting bigger as recently

Answer: “compared to Hawking? Nothing.”
AbbeyRoadkill1 2 weeks ago
My knowledge is very limited so sorry if I make any errors, but since God whom I call Allah created and "controls" everything (laws & dimensions) that is in the universe including "time", space and matter, then the laws (time) do NOT apply to Himself (simply because he created and controls them), which means God lives in a timeless world (ageless) and had no beginning and has no end. Since matter/energy is His creation and controls it, then He is not made from it (explains why we can;t see him).

the heart is a muscle. faith as many others things, comes directly from your brain.
crillecool 2 weeks ago

@OddLion FUcK allllLL OF U WHO DONT BELIVE IN STEphEns HAWKINGS THEORY
freestyle1skeir1matt 1 week ago
