Well, first of all, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change has been discredited numerous times because of paper rejections of credible scientific data contradicting their predetermined conclusion. Many scientists have left the IPCC for this reason and sued to get their name off of the credit list. But wait, THERE'S MORE!!!

I have seen a NASA graph (I cannot give you an exact source, as I have forgotten the URL) depicting a mean temperature decline from 1998 (the "supposed" hottest year on record, actually 1934) through 2008, with the sharpest temperature drop in 2007. Those of you living in Los Angeles, you know that year that it snowed in Malibu (not to mention our ficus hedges froze over)? Yeah. If "the planet has a fever," where is your proof (Hint: It's not "the doctor!")?

These are small events when if you look at teh big picture the Ice caps are freakin melting away at rates that no one could have predicted!

If normal (as in "majority") people like me are wrong, we spent a whole bunch of money (taking action will actually create jobs and help the global economy) for essentially nothing. Worst case scenario: global economic meltdown.

If you're wrong (you and the energy companies), we will see catastrophic climate disasters around the world. Worst case scenario: extinction of the human race.

When you say "global warming exists," I assume you mean anthropogenic (man-made) climate shifts. I agree with you on the ethanol point. China (PRC), due to rising corn prices, literally had to use their strategic pig reserves to prevent starvation. And yes, I did edit this myself.
