@LehmannDaHero If you have 3 SCVs in each Refinery and you have 2 lines and 2 extra on the minerals alone the base is saturated.

That doesn't mean you have to expand right away, depending on the situation, but general rule: NEVER stop building SCVs until you are at 3-4 saturated bases. At that point you to focus on optimizing late game army.

The first expansion you take if early it's normal to split your workers from the first base at 50/50 rate and build workers from both bases.

@Velacroix The wall off gives your smaller army the upper hand on defense against rushes. If the opponent is going for a big all in early game, with good scouting you can spot it, build bunkers near your wall and hold it off.

A+clicking the enemy's base in gold+ will just lead to a nasty counterattack. If you find starcraft mindless, you are playing it badly...

scouting scv on 5 (you just send the scv in his base but with scv on 5 u can switch very fast to it.. later army1 on 5 so you reach stimpacks "t" very fast).. cc on 1 .. rax's 2 .. tech 3 .. starport 4 and maybe 9 and 0 for buildscvs

+ your build order helped me a lot in early game :)

later you hit f.e. 1s2aass3ee4dd 5t6t 0bs and so on..

while 1 building is being constructed you can give the scv the command for a next building..

@jamihatz12 The trick to this game is Drilling. Which means repeating the same steps over and over. Lay them out, then do them from start to finish. Time it. Do it again. Beat your earlier time. Do it again. Beat your earlier time. Repeat until you have your basic build down to a science and you can do it without even thinking about it.

The words TUTORIAL and BASIC mean that you're supposed to be teaching people who are not experts already how to get started playing the game. Step by step, please, starting at the BEGINNING.
