  • 9 dislikes, rlly?

  • This is funniest damn thing I've seen in a long time, esp the ending. (Of course everyone knows "minute" means small... not 60 seconds... right??)

  • Amazing - with those technical skills I can't think of anything you couldn't take on. Why don't you try Rachmaninovs Mendelsson and Liebsleid? - currently my absolute piano favorites.

  • Now do it blindfolded!

  • Wow! Leaves us all breathless!

  • Great performance, great technical challenge!

  • That was awesome.

  • Deserves WAY more views! You epic!

  • your hands were a blur! 0.o

  • Impressive.

  • great job!! (:

  • r u doing tebow pose at the end?

  • you're stupid...how dare you touch this pizza without knowing their meaning?.......the word 'minute' means small in italian

  • I have waited for a very long time that finally somebody would play this in one minute!

    Thanks!

    You did it very well!

  • awww this was so cool, i wish my technique could be half as good

  • Hahahahahaha... Shit! sounds like fucking crap... Nice

  • I rated this down because im jealous >:(

  • @artymowycz At least you admitted it.

  • Sounds beautiful but i Cant hear a single meaning of this piece

  • you have a very relaxed wrist and hand posture. good for you.

  • If you played this 2 more times you'd have a perfect soft boiled egg.

  • of course with enough practising its possible to play it that fast. Hamelin, Libretta or Berezovsky could play it maybe in 40 sec. with no mistakes ;-) But they wont do it because although it has been known as the "Minute Waltz" Chopin did not intend for this waltz to be played in one minute. It was a nickname given by its publisher, meaning "short and small waltz".

  • I dont imagine who would give a dislike to this video. I like it, first time I've heard it that fast as well. I was wondering whether the beat was constant, but don't mind me saying that.

  • so you can assure me that you most certainly did not play 4 wrong notes?

  • @ledzeppelin7510 i'd say i played between 3 and 4 wrong notes...

  • @Amadi1 oops i meant 3-5

  • @ledzeppelin7510 ..it was a joke. good job

  • It still sounds very beautiful this fast! Great playing!

  • I was watching your fingers the whole time...

  • you just put a smile on my face :)

  • @godlordy happy to do so!

  • That was for real!!

  • sorry man i meant to hit like but i accidently hit dislike! great job though!

  • Finally, a musician who understands the real purpose of music - pure entertainment!!! Chopin's Minute Waltz is an average, dated, and rather tired piece (dont believe me? then look at the faces of any audience member watching a performance) but this is total FUN!!!! Excellent work :-) :-)

  • LOL@Pretentious classical musicians missing the point of this video.

Don't you guys have articles to write bashing perfectly acceptable performances for nobody to read? Yeah sure, there's 0 musicality here, but that doesn't mean that he's completely incapable of doing so in other works.

It's exactly this kind of behavior that makes me avoid social circles in my university music program. Grow the fuck up.

  • @SydMorrison hahaa!!! thanks Syd

  • I don't see the problem, I think that's part of the fun, trying to be able to play it in a minute. To be able to play it like that with very few wrong notes is quite an achievement.

  • Man nice job. I think some commenters are just jealous!! Keep up the good (fast) work

  • that's too fast!

  • that's really cool ha~

  • Nice :DD

  • Nice Job!

  • haha this is literally a one-MINUTE waltz!

  • Are you sure it's minute ("mih-nut") as in time or minute ("mai-noot") as in small or short? There could be a difference there. Nice job, though, although a bit clinical and not too emotional, but for this purpose it's not very important.

  • Good job man. I don't recognize the song but it sounds cool. If you're wondering who this is, it's your old friend Cesar.

  • Fine, your better, faster. Happy?

  • @guybacos that's not the point man. thanks for watching though!

  • Grow up!

  • @guybacos You mean stop defending myself against criticism? "sounds awful", "do a real challenge", "grow up"? .... notice I haven't actually insulted you in anyway.

  • Anyway, you seem to have something to prove here, taking this way too seriously, I did mine for the fun, but at least it has musicality..... despite without the repeat.

  • @guybacos at least it has musicality? That's why you mentioned in the description that you WOULDN'T play it that way at a recital? Yeah mine has little if any musicality, if you can play this musically in under a minute, you would be a serious BADASS!!

  • @guybacos yeah I did have something to prove: that I can play it decently under a minute WITHOUT LEAVING THE REPEAT LIKE YOU DID, and without a serious load of wrong notes like others have.

  • A repeat is optional. Do you do all the repeats in every piece you play?

  • @guybacos yep... look at all my recordings... I would ESPECIALLY do it, if I am claiming to do it in a certain amount of time.

  • Then it's not music. Why don't you invest your time into something fast while musical? That's a REAL challenge!

  • @guybacos Same reason you falsely advertised that you played this same piece under a minute while leaving out a whole section. Music is too subjective to debate, so I won't even address that.

  • It's 1 min, but it sounds awful!

  • @guybacos it's not supposed to sound pretty...

  • Haha AMAZING! Great job Amadi! You are a badass!

  • lol that was funny, now this is definately A minute waltz :)

    great skills

  • You're a very talented pianist, but you're destroying this piece over and over again! =(

  • @FredrikBergenholtz You apparently don't understand the point here!! I know this is musically horrible... it was a technical achievement and challenge... I would disagree on my first upload of this piece though, I think I did it justice... a somewhat balanced portrayal of musicality and technique.

  • @BroRJ1 thanks! the revolutionary!?!? that's not a piece I would wanna ruin with speed....

  • Woah that's amazing O.o

  • haha..figured you'd do it eventually.

  • You did it... That's the best one out of all of these!

  • @sptimmy1 thanks tim!!
