Helena and Christie really seem to be at the high point of design for this series. Both in terms of elegance and complexity. It's nice to see someone who plays them both, and competitively. One thing that always impresses me about them (especially after playing other fighters or even other characters in the same game) is the sheer amount of innovation and variation they allow in combos. And oh yeah, nice combos and nice music selections.

Im nowhere near this good, Im a lei fang player and I was wondering(Im a a) and Im very good with her but I cant pull of 15 and 20 hit combos like this...incredible... how long did it take you to start being this good with helena?? did you have to do the exercise like 20 times a day or what I really wanna be a good combo player like this

@jfdyj DOA4 was the first fighter I played competitively and Helena is NOT a noob-friendly character so it was a rough trip. I'm a combo fanatic so I always try to make up the fanciest combos I could and sometimes I even disregard the damage. put this up in '08 so I had two years.

There is a known 30 hit in the Great Hall (over the table, and against the wall), but I didn't make it up or find it out on my own so.

It's been a long time, tho, I wrote down all of my combos, but I cannot for the life of me find the transcript.

But the most I can get in tag is 25... 30 with Gen Fu's air catch.

That 14 hit combo at 5:45 is impossible the 7 hit brings the move down I do not know how you manage to keep the combo in the air

Keep doing it, you'll get it. If you just CANT get it on flat surface, use a lightweight on a slope such as the Tri-tower. But the last hit in 4p 6p can miss to put them higher in the air.
