0:38 he says "Ma i/l momenti da film, non sono niente.", which is where she really seems to get upset. It translates to "But the moments from the/on film, they are nothing."
Apart from feeling sorry for Karina, I think we should feel for Godard as well. He is very critical in everthing, and that's why he became famous.
During interview, he just talked about what he thought was true(about the relationship). He probably knew it would hurt Karina's, but he just respond so quickly.
You can say Godard is a kind of person who care not about others' feeling(for Truffaut as well).Yet, he is also admirable for his outspoken character, which is not usual in today society
@omgfiercelawl she talks about her dog, how many films her and luc have done together (7.. and a half, because of a sketch/short they did) another movie she played in.. one that's in belgium, castles middle ages etc.. then at the very end when she gets a bit bashful and smiles so happily, luc gives her some grief about her fingernails (she's been biting them) and she says "j'ai vu ton oeil" which would be.. I saw you eyeing that ! so she teases him about how he's dressed
@josephvento I may have mistranslated it (the sound quality is rather poor), but I can't find Godard saying anything particularly nasty. He talks about the difficulty of directing an actress and also living with them; how he wanted to emulate Welles and Renoir in this respect, but that his work was always his main concern and for that the home life/relationship suffered. Maybe someone who can follow the subtitles might get more out of it, the nuances etc.
@astralweeks88 : actually he said something more tragic, he said : 'hmm, no, to live together never works ; but yeah I think it's possible to be happier but only after we broke up". (sorry for my english)
Can this interview be founded with English subtitles? Thanks.

A rough translation...
"Can one be happy again after such a relationship?"
Anna Karina responds "Yes, one can be happy but in a different way."
Godard responds "No, I believe one can be much happier."

It's so stupid!! (that they cancelled your channel)
Godard's fans NEED to see your video. He's a real monster in his real life , I think that he lies in all their films.
Allways will be my favorite video.
And... I love Anna, of course!
Thanks a lot, again.
