Just heard the head of marketing talk about it on the radio in Chicago today and he said you can just scuff it up, prime it, and paint whatever you want! I want to get one bad!
i have to ask - our school once used a whiteboard paint to "cheaply" convert traditional chalkboards into modern whiteboards. however, afterwards, the markers would always stain and could never be erased easily. even just touching the surface, you would feel slightly spongey rather than the slick, hard surface of a quality whiteboard.
@pagsterr Sounds like you used more of an arts and crafts version of whiteboard paint. IdeaPaint cures hard as a rock, and will give you that hard, smooth finish you are looking for. It also outperforms even most commercial whiteboards, so you won't get that "ghosting" of markers once they're erased.
I want some where can you get it
