In the end of the Star Wars series (chronologically), Anakin was still the chosen one. He killed Darth Sidious and peace was restored to the galaxy.It was just a series of events that had to occur before it happened.

the best fight scenes were in The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi...because they both had meanings and feelings. This fight had no meaning, no emotion and crap acting. Ewan McGregor is normally a great actor, but his script and acting skills could not rescue this pile of garbage. This is the end of the Star Wars franchise my master. And for crying out loud, how many times can crap Actor Hayden say "master" with such s**t expressions and acting.

What i've noticed about siths, or mabe just darth maul and anakin, is that they like to do cheap shots while fighting. Darth maul hit Qui gon with his lightsaber to the head and then stabbed him while anakin hits obi wan mid way through the fight. Dirty sith.
