I can't believe that such blatant racist dribble was allowed on tv just these few years ago. But then, with Saturday Night Live just making "Polack" jokes a few months ago, I shouldn't be surprised. Too bad most people don't realize that racists are idiots.

They could NEVER get away with this today, primarily because of all the hate speech laws. Of course, the South was always a bit behind the rest of the country. I am surprised that the Catholic jokes did not come out immediately after the Polish ones. Frankly, there is nothing at all funny about this, and I am neither liberal nor Polish.
