If she could have Gillery's baby she would but since she and Gillery can't produce a child together she went for the next best thing...to have a baby with Gillery's brother. That way her biological child is is also biologically related to Gillery. So she can think of Blake as "their" daughter. The brother was just the sperm donor. lol

Thank you for posting. Annabeth Gish becomes more beautiful as she gets older. That was a very interesting story. Loved the short film.
