  • just got my E39. had it for 3 days before somebody left a door ding in it - even parked at the far end of the lot to avoid this crap. Certainly feel for you bro. Look at the bright side though, this is still the best looking car on the road today in my opinion.

  • @vr6seatminis People really don't have respect anymore. I paid to get the dent fixed and the car was pretty mint for its age up until about 2 months ago. I had someone back into my front bumper which scraped the paint and cracked the bumper in three places. Once again, I need to pay for some elses negligence.

  • @foleygac fuck that sucks. hate carpark dents. esp from trolleys...(shopping carts in the US?). No joke, but i actually take pictures of the cars surrounding mine before i leave it parked anywhere busy, just incase. Nice car tho bud. keep those vids coming.

  • @icredr31 I solved the problem by buying a beater lol. This works because I can park it anywhere I want and poorly as I want and I don't worry about it getting hit. Also, I don't get harassed at stoplights and on the highway to race either...and it's not like this car is fast either.

I'll def keep the videos coming though.

  • @vr6seatminis I hate that. I do the same, yet when I come back to my car someone's parked next to me. I think they get lonely.

  • sick

  • Nice

  • does this car gets you pussy??

  • @Expendablexxxx I get it without the car but it's an added bonus to bring girls home with it.

  • I like how the turning lights keep on along with the halos, was it hard to do ? Does it alters the obc ?

  • @fredgust84 It wasn't hard to do as I just tapped into the parking light power and ground. However, I rewired this whole setup with a DRL harness that turns the Halo's on automatically when I start the car and they stay on during the dar without the parking lights needing to be on. I prefer it over this setup.

  • @joesaric I'm going to swap out my current setup for coilovers. Either H&R's or KW's. I haven't made up my mind on that yet.

  • what suspention do you have ?

  • @joesaric Bilstein Sports w/ H&R sport springs.

  • @foleygac I have Eibach Pro-kit & Koni FSD. H&R and Bilstein are also very good stuff

  • how did u get that dent out? i have the same car and almost the same dent on the same quarter and its really bugging me

  • @jgrillz51594 I had a body shop take it out and then repaint it. I don't do much with body work as it's the last thing I would want to screw up.

  • Nice car dude, you sound like paul walker off fast and furious hahaha

  • looks good dude. you should tint the windows a little. not too much just enough.

  • @910Citation Thanks man, this video is old and the windows have since been tinted. 35% all around using a carbon film. Keeps the car cooler in the summer.

  • @clarifaco lol I guess but I'm American too and I don't talk like that.

  • @hemiowner55 YOURE SEEING IT IN 16:9 PAL PLUS, THATS WY. FOR ME THE WORST INVENTION EVER IN VIDEO.!!!

  • that aint to bad....for me it was like this..i came home, went to sleep and with in 1hour my factory alarm is going off my car is on the curb both of my doors were destroyed and there was a bunch of dirt and rocks on top of my car...NOT A FUCKEN NOTE WAS LEFT.... repair 7500..my own money....fuck farmers insurance

  • @SmokinFuckenKush Wow man, that is terrible. I'm sorry you had to deal with that.

  • nice setup here brother , i have exact same car exact same color , really wanting to drop the car , curious what did you use, looks like coil overs , what brand? if you did something diffrent please explain , and how much did you drop the rear/front

  • @dreammoney101 Thanks man. this car is lowered on Bilstein sports w/ H&R sport springs. I will be dropping in coilovers at some point in the near future. I want the rear to tuck a little bit. As it sits the front was dropped 1.3" and the rear is dropped about 3/4". Hope this helps.

  • @foleygac bilstein sports what? struts? an h&r lowering springs?

  • Simply LOVE the wheels. Your car looks ace, man. Keep treating it well.

  • @flimsyshow Thanks man. I'm looking at new ones right now after I lower the car a little more. The rest of the car also needs some TLC as the front bumper didn't fair so well over this past winter.

  • Perfect car man! I like your choose.I even dont have car at all.So that's the best!

  • @hemiowner55 Squashed cabbage? You're a funny dude lol.

  • um um um um uh um uh um um um um um uh uh uh um um um um

    so annoying

    nice car though

  • @Pseud0Link Um...what' wrong um with saying um so much? I thought all the cool kids say it lol.

  • @Pseud0Link MODERN AMERICAN TALK

  • lol i Have the same rims on my e36 :P (but not black)

  • nice car man. do you have the vanos knocking? my dad has a 03 540 to...just wondering

  • @smokysssj Thanks man. I don't have VANOS knocking because I replaced the seals a few years back. It's pretty easy.

  • leave you with a giant FUCK YOU...lol so true fuckin hate it

  • @serbmafioso3 Shit happens, but this kind of stuff is just unacceptable.

  • @foleygac the worst part is not the cost of fixing that kind of bumps, but feeling, that the car was fixed yet, definitlu mechanic wan't galvanize car again, and there could be a ton of putty instead of only metal, so after 6 months there is a big chance of rust appering :/ So it feels like someone fucked You and Your car.

  • @Adamo1890 True, but my body shop was able to lift the dent out and simply spray it over. It's been nearly a year and half since I had it fixed and it looks just like it did before someone damaged my car. No body shop should use bondo to fill in a dent. That's not what it's designed to do and if done in that way then I can definitely agree with you it will start to rust out.

  • wow!!! great work!

  • @oOmondgras Thanks man.

  • esta estupendo pa los años que tiene tu joyita

  • @reyreydeluna Gracias.

  • sick one!!! nice ride.. my favorite one, good job on rims

  • @djapedjapeBU1994 Thank you. I'm currently looking at new wheels for this car. I want to go bigger and wider plus I want to go lower so coilovers will be next.

  • Very Nice, I wish you had caught the bastard and busted that ass for the disrespect of the coveted E39 which I own as well. 2003 525i

    Good Luck

  • @NeoDon1 The dent gave me a reason get other things on the car painted as well. All turned out well in the end.

  • And how much work was it to paint the black door/front and rear bumper strips silver from the textured black that they were stock?

  • @elijahinky All you really need to do is sand them down until they're smooth.

  • Do the M5 mirrors require any fabrication to put on> I have a 540i Msport with the square mirrors and wanna switch to these

  • @elijahinky No, they are a direct bolt on. No modification required.

  • Hi, nice car!

I would like to ask you a question please. Did you know how much liters your car uses to do 100 kilometers at 140km/h? Some people said many things and I would like to ask directly to an owner like you.

    Thanks.

    Gustavo

  • With the harness how did you wire the halos exactly?

  • @Jaxx137 The harness has two trigger wires, a relay switch, a power and ground cable, and two connections on both ends of the harness for the angel eyes. It's easy to install the harness and the angel eyes plug directly in with the harness. It was an easy plug and play install.

  • Did you connect your Depo angel eyes to the parking lights or use the harness? I like the wheels. I was wondering how a Gunmetal wheel with machined or chrome lip would look on your car.

  • @Jaxx137 In this video the angel eyes were connected to my parking lights but later on I installed the DDE harness.

  • Dude awesome vid..I have a jet black on sand 97' 540i sport/6 and Im about to order the orion V2's and Im still deciding on what headlights to use..HID of course, but I have so many options...defenitely goin with the M technik bumpers and not the ///M5 bumpers...I want a tuned 540i, not an ///M5 clone..Thanx for the video..good solid info..tasteful mods on the car, and everything is beautiful..keep it up! You going to Octoberfest in wisconsin this year!?

  • @whorebot325 Thanks man. More than likely won't be at Octoberfest...that's a hell of a drive/flight for me lol.

  • Hey nice car i got the same on im working on it just did the M5 bumpers i have a quick question did you get the DEPO's from Umnitza to w/the Orion V2 im looking for a headlight upgrade and yours are excactly what im looking for can you directe me to were you got yours or can you give me some advise thanks also checkout my videos

  • @MIHProductions I did get the DEPO's from Umnitza, however if I were to go back and redo it I would probably get the Hella replicas as they look much better. They also offer the Hella replicas with the Orions built in now and they didn't do that before.

  • @TheFrameSurfer Regardless of whether it was a 525i, 528i, 530i, 540i, or M5 I would still remove the emblem. To me it looks a lot cleaner without the badging.

  • great video's mate. hope to see some updates soon. ive been getting some idears of you for my e39

  • Thanks man! I'll have an update video coming really soon. I just recently finished re-doing my interior trim, a full exterior shadowline conversion (no more chrome trim anywhere), and I'm getting Huber-Optik tints added Monday next week (35% all around)

  • I seriously need to pay more attention to your videos then I would have known it had the M-Technic body kit. haha Nice

  • it's a 5K car in my country.... old shit from late 90's... (in here only gypsys driving old bmw's) maybe it's a luxury car in the USA? couse u talk about it like to a god

  • I don't expect you to reply to this, but why should I care about what you think when then only "automotive" videos you have are car modding in GTA and Pro Street?

I want to laugh and say you're a joke but I wouldn't feel right doing it. Do you even own a car? Or do you take the bus and bash whatever you see on the web to pass the time? If so, does it make you feel better?

  • look cars is my job.... why do u care about what vids i have. i have an a6 3tdi from '05 but my family used to got a E39 touring thats why i know thats a huge shit. ok i let u showing your gypsy car on the internet which cost less than the rims on my a6

  • Why do I care about what videos you have? Simple. Most people who have video game videos of cars usually don't own cars but still pretend that they do.

Maybe you're the exception...but it still doesn't change the fact that you're an e-thug. Go find some more E39 videos to write your shit on because maybe someone else will actually take you seriously and get upset over what you have to say.

  • @skwerl19890818, blatantly you don't have a car or a job, because you ARE just a loser who post videos of yourself playing your AMAZING video games. also you sound like the one who is a gypsy with your crap english. if you do have an a6 why don't you post a video of it as a response to this one.

  • if i wanted to this with u i did it? dont u think?;) what ever.

  • I've heard people say you sometimes have to "cut" the angel eyes. Did you cut anything?

  • You're going to have to do some cutting and splicing but it's all really straight forward. I used to have my AE's hooked up to my parking lights but later chose to install an E46 DDE harness so they would automatically come on.

There's a video on YouTube that shows how to hook them up to your parking lights. Personally, I prefer the DRL/DDE look where they come on automatically.

  • what would i be cutting? the clips at the top of the rings? and whats splicing, i just got this car so sorry for the questions

  • I think it might be easier for me to explain what I'm talking about with this video. There are obviously a few differences between what this guy does and what you're going to do but it generally covers a majority of everything you're going to need to know...

    watch?v=nVdWJt9efbg

  • I haven't received my projectors yet but looking at that video it seems there is some potential to break the entire angel eyes, how bad is the risk of breaking them do you think?

  • The AE's in the video I sent you are easy to break because they are CCFL and thy are basically glass tubes. The LED Angel Eyes are much less fragile so I wouldn't worry about it too much.

  • Did you cut the entire top solid cylinder thing like he did?

  • Yes, I cut the connecting piece off. It's not too difficult at all. Like I mentioned earlier the LED AE's are plastic and not glass like the CCFL's so it shouldn't be an issue.

  • AND how long did it take you to install the DEPO and AE together? Gosh all the install tutorilas look HARD as HECK

  • It took my maybe half an hour to install the AE's and maybe another half hour to install the headlights. It's honestly fairly straight forward once everything is in front of you. I was intimidated at first but I took my time and everything worked out.

  • @foleygac So if i buy the orions and DEPOs will i be set, or are there other bulbs i need or anything?

  • Yes, you should be all set with the DEPO's and Orions. Obviously at some point you could upgrade to HID's if you would like but other than that you should be good.

  • How good are the High and Low Beams on the DEPOs?

  • The low beams are really focused because of the projector. I'm running a 55 watt HID system and very rarely ever use my high beams because the light output is very flat and focused.

I run a standard halogen bulb in my high beam because it is a reflector and when I've used it I'd say it far surpassed my OE high beam output.

  • So the low beams are good enough to pass on high beams most of the time?

  • What i Meant is the light output of the DEPOs better than the stock halogens? I will have the exact same setup as you. How much better/worse?

  • The projector focuses light better than a reflector, therefor the beam of light is tighter and more accurate. IMO the light output is much better and I definitely see a whole lot better.

When you install just make sure you align the headlights.

  • Woah woah, you said you put the Predator Orions *over* the DEPO's? Did that just make the DEPO "fake" angel eyes brighter or what? Cuz I have some Orions and I was about to return them to get the DEPO's because DEPO says they come with them.

So basically why did you put the Orions over the DEPOs?

  • No, the Predator Orions are inside the DEPO AE rings.

DEPO's do not come with Predator Orions. The stock DEPO AE's have 5 halogen bulbs inside the ring and the light output has serious gaps and it looks like crap.

I purchased this set of headlights through Umnitza and originally I chose to get the Predator Chromiums (CCFL) but later on decided I wanted the Predator Orion's for the brighter light output.

I hope this clears any confusion up.

  • Yes it did, I was just wondering why you put the Orions over the DEPO. I thought the DEPO angel eyes would be as good. As a matter of fact, I ordered Predator Orions and was about to return them for DEPOs! thank goodness I didnt!

  • Oh yeah how did you install the angel eyes on the DEPO's, is it the same as regular lights? I havent found real instructions for any

  • Hey do you know the exact name of those headlights? Were they aound 150 or 350$? Oh and do they come with xenons and all? thanks!

  • Yeah...they are DEPO P39's. They can come with HID's depending on where you order them from. With Umnitza Predator Orions and HID's I paid closer to $450.

  • how much did you pay for the rims ?

  • I got them really cheap through my mechanic. I think I paid somewhere near $800 for the set.

  • Car looks really nice. What year is it?

  • 2000

  • is that an eibach suspension?

  • No, I have Bilstein sport struts and H&R lowering springs.

  • very nice car great appearance with the led angel eyes!!! i am hopefully getting the E39 M5 next year as my first car..and yes i am an excellent driver =)

  • same hereee

  • oh yeah one thing doh,you should painted the stripes on it or how is it called in english, that was a bad move, especially on a grey one............just some advaice, like i said nice car.

  • nice car,you sound like a nice person too, great car knowledge.19 inch indeed nicer but 18inch drives better in overal.got an e39 m5 and got 18 inch bbs rs2 wheels, not going for 19inch like all others have.bummer for the dent..............assholes!

  • That's why with nice cars you have to try to park far away where it's empty, but it's hard sometimes. Clean car.

  • See, Now thats what i call good taste and style. Amazing Car, im about to go for the same uprgades on my 528i.

How much did the shop charge you for painting the body kit ?

  • Thanks man, I appreciate it...

It was somewhere near $1200 and that includes respray of the hood, front fenders, install and spray of body kit, and headlight install. Work is being done now as we speak so stay tuned.

  • haha i love it at 2:42. "they just give you a big fuck you"

    NICE car btw!

  • Thanks man. The way I see the whole situation is as follows...

The person hit my car, knew they did it, said screw it, and drove away.

The person hit my car, didn't know it because they are clueless to their surroundings and drove away.

Either situation ends with the same result, they're an asshole and I'm stuck paying for it. :P

  • yeh it does suck both ways.

I'd be hella pissed if someone did this to my car. I got a 1999 528i. BTW where did you get your headlights?

  • I got them through Umnitza. You can find them through Google. They're pretty well known for Angel Eye upgrades.

  • You ordered those from the magazine right?

  • No, if you're referring to the wheels that is. My shop was able to get a set for me. Originally, I wanted to get them through BavAuto but I was concerned about getting the proper offsets.

  • Oh i was wondering because they resemble the beyern rims i got from BavAuto Magazine

  • BavAuto was the first place I saw them as well, and like I said, I planned to order through them.i just wanted to be safe and make sure I got what I wanted.

  • u have the old beemer e3 right. coz u sed u wanted rear lip spoiler. its not a lot u no. my dads came stock as he got the step up frm urs the sport version in velvet blue metalic

  • It's a 2000 and a non M-Sport so the M-Technic kit was something I purchased last summer. I was also considering the AC Schnitzer 3 Piece trunk spoiler as well but I inevitably decided that the lip spoiler was the best option. I have it sitting in my house waiting to get painted along with some other stuff.

  • nice car! you should get blacked out kidney grills. they'd go well with wheels.

  • Thanks, I've considered doing it but there are other things that have priority right now.
