ZUN produces so many jazzy songs. There is a disproportionately small weight of jazz material in this playlist, so it's good to see you filling it up with some.

Right the game is actually about the same difficulty in normal and easy actually (due to not enough bullets to freeze on easy, so no big chains)

But ZUN went really hardcore witht he lunatic mode this time!

Anyway, not a fan of Cirno's theme to begin with, but since it's a jazz arrange I can't dislike it, smooth at it is, it would calm me instantly and force me to listen to it anyway

Really? Actually most people I've talked to said that. I didn't really find it very hard on normal (no comment on Lunatic). 3 way fairy battle can be a pain in the ass and my finger really is tired from continuously pressing Z.

You know, you can press either Ctrl or C to rapid fire. Personally, I use C by using my Bombing finger on it, only stopping to press the Bomb button.

Still, since one is used to the normal games, the finger position feels awkward.

Wait what? No you don't

Is not a hacked version or something. Since the dawn of time all Touhou games require one single Normal run ( and if I'm not mistaken one single 1cc run) to unlock the Extra stage with that character. That means that if I want to fight Nue with Marisa A. I have top beat UFO on Normal or above with Marisa A.

Also, Subterranean Animism (th11) is the only game that relocks the Ex-stage if you beat it on easy.

i tried beating my games 1cc on normal and it didnt unlock the ex stages

i had to ask a friend's help and beat the stages 1cc on lunatic from th10 and on before it unlocks the ex stages

and the th11 ex locking thing also applies to th12

and for a random side note th13 is gonna have spell practice

Then your game is messed up since I unlocked them without beating Lunatic. And even from a logical standpoint it doesn't make sense. Like you clearly expressed, not everybody is good enough to beat the game on Lunatic and Lunatic as a whole is harder than the Extra stage.

On one side, making Lunatic a must would essentially prohibit many people from ever playing Extra. On the other, it beats the purpose of the extra challenge the Ex-stage is suppose to be.
