Nope, can't be done. The closest is taking a "picture" of the costume and paste it on your sackboy.

Well sure!

Do you have a PSN-account? You can register one on your PS3 (the name you choose will be the name seen to other players)

When you have a PSN-account set-up, go to Playstation Store, "Game Addons" on the left. Then choose "L" and you will find LittleBigPlanet. Both extra costumes, and expansions (FREE ONES TOO!!!).

Go nuts!

Nah, they don't.

Just download what you want to download! You can't download something that costs money without paying for it. And to do so, you need to fill up your wallet on your PS3 account.
