  • That's INCREDIBLE!!!!

  • This is from Western Horseman's Cutting Horse Legends Video that I have. This awesome horse is named Jodie Earl.

0014396 JODIE EARL BAY GELDING 01/01/1944

  • This is amazing! I was always told that the cutting horses had all that cow sense bred into them, but I didn't know that some of them had it THIS well bred into them. Absolutely stunning! He looked better cutting that cow than many of them look with a rider!

  • Daaaang. You can't teach that, and btw that horse tuck under himself very nicely when he pivots!

  • we had a colt that when we mustered in his paddock the cows that got away he was disappering and reurning with cows at dark and he was free in the paddock.

  • yea that is impressive but that shouldn't touch the cattle at all! my stallion if you go to my videos all i did was sit their and let my horse fallow the calf, he isn't trained or anything just cowy from his breeding.

  • @rmstinnett321 no the white marks are a sign of an ill-fitting saddle and/or saddle-blanket; it pinches the hair-follicles and whatnot and turns it white.

    This indeed bloody awesome. :D

  • Oh puhfuckinlease the white marks are a sign that the horse has had many wet saddle blankets and that would be required in order to have a horse this well trained! and NO they do not just do this because they are bred that way it takes a minimum of two years training!!!!!

  • now thats a good horse

  • Qual nome deste cavalo??

  • AMAZINGLY COOL. Who is this horse???

  • Absolutely AWESOME!!!!!

  • Fabulous video, but the scares on his withers from poor fitting saddles makes me very sad.

  • @equinedriver what scars??

  • @millie00peanut , the white marks on either side of his withers, and on top of his withers. For some reason, many western peeps don't "tent" their saddle pad. Dunno why. AWESOME horse!

  • @AnimalLeftist ooh yea after i watched it again i saw them :)

alot of us dont lift the front of the saddle pad, i agree... even i sometimes dont do it.

i agree :D an AWSOME horse

  • wow! my jaws was opened when i saw this!!

  • I love the music, its very well made. I love this horse :)

  • It seems like the extra weight of a rider would just be a hinderance to horses like this.

  • Wspaniały kon..;**

  • I LOVE IT!!!!

  • FUCKING AMAZING! i've never seen a horse preform like this without a rider! truely stunning! awesome horse awesome trainer!

  • That´s the pure Cow Sense =)) I love it

    - one question: Which song is played in the background, which artist, which version and which song? *:*

  • @cyberhexe7 : search for "someday my prince will come COUNTRY", you'll find a Disney-video. Comments says something about Tanya Tucker.

  • that horses loves his work!

  • This just proves how good a Cutting Horse can be! (Is)

  • That is so amazing! I want this horse!!

  • That SWWEEEETTT :)

  • That is sooo cool!!!

  • thats awesome!

  • well that explains so much! i have a QH and when i let him out to play with the other horse he does this with him., at first i thought it was normal over active play but he is "cutting" the other horse and herding it around the yard! wow QH's must have some strong genes

  • Fantastic!

  • a true cutting horse...watch him work that cow all by him self

  • Meus Deus, que cavalo lindo! Esse vale ouro, sem dúvidas. Amei...quero ele para mim!!!

  • Brilliant

  • This is an old cutting horse by the name of Billy Earl. Check out the video Cutting Horse Legends from the late 50's or early 60's.

  • Does anybody know who the horse is and breeding?

  • AMAZING!

  • Wow - very impressive.

  • There's a horse who knows his job well, likes it a lot, and is good at it!

    VERY cool!

  • CHECK OUT THIS CUTTING HORESE. NO RIDER!!! THIS IS A NATURAL!

  • lol I've seen horses move mobs of cattle to the troughs before, but never cutting!

  • gave me chills.

  • that`s soooo cool. awsome video !!!!!!

  • that is sooo awesome o.o

  • Go, horse, go! I've never seen a horse cutting on his own, it's amazing! He sure loves his job, haha!

  • *lol* Talk about natural ability! What's this horse's name?

  • Muito Bom

    Parabens cavalomuito inteligente

  • wow. that's amazing

  • That is awsome, you can see that horse is just playing and having fun! Watch him shake his head and just have fun. Great video, thanks!

  • that is a real horse man!! haha that's sweet!!

  • this is fantastic!!!

  • lol he walks thru em like "ya..thats rite move it along..one of u is gettin picked on today"

  • That is so cool

  • My horse used to be able to do that, But unfortunately his cutting days are over due to lameness. :(

Amazing horse. Every cutting trainer shoudl be able to say "My horse can do this."

  • Great video - thanks for sharing! What a horse!

  • it´s a beautiful hore comliment it´s got talent!!! ;-)

  • I tried to tell someone that it's the horse doing the work, not the rider. The horses have this bred into them, they WANT to do it. Now I can show this video.

  • this is amazing i want that horse my horse has cow sence but not like that lol

  • Hahaha! Aggressive instinct for the win! :D My mare can do that... I just wish she'd get off her lazy rumpus long enough for me to take her on a trail. lol

  • Amazing!

  • Whoaa. Thats insane! Your horse is amazing!

  • This is so cool. Thanks for posting. :)

  • Lol, My horse does this to smaller paint horses that look like cows hahaha xD anything shorter than her is a cow in here eyes.. I dont cut tho, I should start, my horse's heart is in cutting whilst mine is in barrels hahaha

  • Awesome! This horse loves his work!

  • great caballo! he found a game to play! We found selective breeding! im so tired of non-horse/ranch people saying we are cruel to our critters!

  • Wow! The horse looks like it's playing with the bullock! This is a fantastic video, thanks for uploading x

  • I always wondered why cutting horses took to it and how being able to see it without the rider, I finally know what instinct its based off of! It looks just like when a stallion steals a mare from another stallion in the wild. Awesome horse!

  • thats awesome but u know he's not JUST doing it. in one of the clips the caught people giving the horse signals. it's slight but it's definitly there. lol

  • They aren't giving the horse signals. The people are keeping the cow from running to the far end of arena. Don't know much about cutting, do you?

  • Looks like the horse is having a good time. But I'm wondering why the rider/owner of this horse doesn't get a saddle that FITS him? Look at the LARGE white pressure spots on either side of his withers.

  • AWESOME! Makes me wonder why I love my cattle dog so much! LOL can u say something in common?

  • This horse is amazing :)

  • Who is this great horse?

    What a character!

  • This is awesome!

  • This definitely shows that cutting is all on the horse!

  • amazing horse!

Please, can someone tell me the name of the song? I searched but could not find it ^^

  • INCROYABLE. C'est vraiment merveilleux et incroyable

  • wow.. great horse

  • how the heck did he did this by himself??

  • well the horse loves and is trained to do this so he does it lolz a horse at my barn he is really old now but when he was a stud and in his younger days he would cut every man cow or horse he could find:)

  • davvero spettacolare... ma ki è queto cavallo?(come si kiama?)

  • Gorgeous horse! And that''s awesome! I plan on starting cutting for fun next year maybe :)

  • wow. thats a good horse. he really loves his job.

  • Omg that is so cute, must love it

  • Funny thing. We just pulled a brood mare out of the pasture this week and she hasnt been ridden or cut off of in about 10 years. She came in the cow pen yesterday and started cutting for fun by herself. Pretty amazing to watch.

  • wow cool hourse

  • amazing horse! never seen anything like that

  • beautiful

  • lol wow. Amazing horse! video quality wasnt the best but i could still tell that this horse got some cow sence!

  • Nice horse

  • Out of a Poco Angus mare

  • Nice!

  • wow thats unbelievable, awesome

  • who sings this?

  • Tanya Tucker

  • WOW THAT IS AWESOME!!!!!!!

  • This video is part of a video called "Cutting Horse Legends" Voiced over by Red Steagall. 70 minutes long and contains rare footage of such great horses as Poco Bueno, Poc Lena, Pretty Buck, Joe Reed II, Joak, Leo, Hired Hand, Miss Texas, Royal King, Pocco Dell, Marion's Girl, Miss Nancy Bailey and more! This horse is featured at the end, a gelding I believe. Video has some of the top old time riders like Buster Welch and Don Dodge. I've worn one out, and bought it again!!

  • Cool.

My reining horse also does this, even though I NEVER ridden him with cows. How do I know..? Because there are a bunch of cows around my house and one day a calf got out and my horse was chasing it around like this. xD

  • Amazing! The best horses do it because they love to and not because they've been trained. :D

  • thats amazing !!

    haha what a horse....

  • COWEY! who is he?

  • Look at that horse boss that cow! what a good horse

  • Love the video, thats cowsense! and the music, is it Tanya Tucker?

  • Totally AWESOME! That horse had lots of cow!

  • lol very funny cow

  • őstehetség

  • that's AMAZING! I've never seen one cut on its own! Aww he definitely loves his job :)

  • spettacolare!!!!!

  • My horse is a cutting/reining horse but I only show him in reining. Never been around a cow untill he was 6 years old, when my family moved next door to a pature filled with about 60 cows. My horse started chasing them from the other side of the fence. And staring at them. It was funny.

  • thats was amazing!!! nice horse and beautiful coloring and confirmation!!! =D

  • Wow. THAT is a horse that loves his job!!

  • what a horse!!..hey dude..i need the name of this song!!..cuold someone tellme the name of this song?? pleaseeee!!

  • horseyjill28, with these horses a rider does not tell them what to do! Read about them please.

  • I bet the owner of this horse wonders why it doesn't work that well under saddle. Look at the "white" saddle marks on both sides of the withers.........am I the only person that noticed this?

  • I noticed it also...

Its amazing that the horse is doing that though.....

  • now THAT is a good cow hors

  • Fantastico..w il cutting

  • I want that horse/or offspring them are one in a million.

  • Now thats what I call a Cow Horse...

  • I cant stop watching this vid! Thanks for posting daniredde...

  • Totally cool - the horse isnt biting or being harsh with that cow, just doing what he was born for. Great video.

  • @aoesunking

  • so nice!

    its really nice!

  • i would check the horses saddle fit those white marks on his withers could indecate an ill fitting saddle if he wasn't born with them

  • o moo shit. cow humper

  • He looks like he's playing with the cow - he rears up at it and everything.

  • With a horse like that, who needs to hire the hands to help?

  • Nice!

  • who needa a rider when the horse is that good.

  • That was awesome, your horse makes it look like fun to him, lol

  • This horse it's many times better by himself than all of the people that I saw "competing" at the local fair this year.

  • Magnifique :-)

  • That was awesome!

  • What a Smart Horse, l have never seen

that done be 4 without a rider.

  • The below was replying to Henriette100.

  • I am so impressed! Wonderful combination of work ethic and instinct. I want to ride a cutting horse now!

  • Świetne !! It's amazing !

  • uhh retard

  • Riiight. Hey, I'm against bull riding and everything (cos i once saw one break its leg while being ridden) but a cutting horse is down right pampered. So your little spazz is kinda irrelevant here. Anyway, this horse looks fine. And the cow is probably just thinking "What the...?". Neither are getting hurt. So :P!

  • Awesome... We used to have a horse at our barn that would keep any new horses away from the rest of the herd... He would protect them really, he was always there 1st friend of the herd.. Ironically, he had no cutting experience, although we though he must have the way he'd do it..

  • lol the best cutter! lol

  • Wow! I guess he likes his job

  • amazinggggggggggg

  • i cant believe how natral it is for this horse, this is a true horse that knows his job and knows what he likes to do

  • wow

  • Wow Great video!! I just rode a cutting horse today after years in an english saddle. It was like staying on a mechanical bull!
