  • Nice! Great sound...love my Aero...be safe!!

  • looks great bud. I love my 05 as well

  • Hey streetrod1989 sweet sound on that awesome aero. When you removed the baffle on the single, how did you go about it? did you use the hole saw trick or what? thanks Man. Jim

  • rocket sound

  • My first bike, Honda shadow 750, 2008,I had no motorcycle experience what so ever, I did drop it a few times in the beginning, nothing major. I love this bike, though I sometimes feel that I might be pushing the engine when Im traveling at 80mph, what do you think?

  • Keep it in first and twist the throttle and try to redline it. It has a RPM limiter that will cut you back. So you can't over rev the motor. You can't destroy this Honda V twin. Just ride and enjoy. It's a bit buzzy over 64 mph. Try crashbar covers to cut down on buffetting. A nearly perfect bike.

  • That's badass, sounds nice man. I want to get new pipes for my 1100 Aero, but am kind of leery about re jetting. While I'm good with my hands, I'm worried I'd be kind of in over my head. How long did it take to re jet?

  • Damn, that is one nice sounding aero. Mine doesnt seem to sound that good when idling, it sounds like its stuttering...do you know what the problem could be? Or is there even a problem?

  • Hey: Very nice sound.I want to do the same...But I dont know how to install the jet kit.

How did you do it? How did you get the Carburator?

    Very nice job though :)

  • Thanks, if you buy a jet kit it comes with pretty basic instructions. But I found a guy that had step by step instructions on the net. Just have to search for them. It pretty easy.

  • really nice bike man. I used to own a shadow ACE and I miss it every day. "Upgraded" to the Sabre but sold it recently. Can I ask how tall you are? I'm looking for a new bike but I'm 6'1 and have been told the Aero might sit a little low for me. Your thoughts please?

  • i am 6.3 ...and i sat on a brand new honda shadow AERO ... and i can tell you it feels abit "small " ...but the thing is ..you have to get used to it ... i mean i used to leard how to ride on a 125 cc MINSK ...and my EX motorcycle was a SIMSON 250 cc ... and i still fit on them and i was smiling like a mad man when i was riding them ... the thing is with bikes ...you get used to them ... just ride as much as you can and you will be happy ...

  • buy the way ...if you dontlike the seat you can always change it ... or even make it abit higher soyou will be more confy on it ...like put more shit on the seat ...like some sponge or shit ..and wrap it back with some vinil or stuff ..and there you go ...you have a higher seat ... or put one with springs on it ... ... just change the seat and get the bike for crying out loud !

  • i have a bike like this a honda aero 2007,and i want to remove the baffle, but some friends told me if i do that my machine will be damaged, is that true? i like the sound your bike do and i want the same for my bike, please give your opinion. thanks

  • Its should not damage the bike. It may run a little leaner and require a jet kit. Which i would install if I changed from factory pipes anyway.

  • WHen you cut the weld on the pipe did you then need to have it rewelded, and rechromed?

Or did you just gut everything while the exhaust was still together?

  • THUNDERS!! It sounds like f****** thunders!

  • Sounds Good:)

I had a 2004 just like that, it did a great job carrying me, my girlfriend and all our gear ALL OVER Arkansas!!!!! Those mountains didnt bother it a bit :)

  • Basically followed these instructions at sa750. com/thundermod/paulsthundermod. htm

  • htm But instead of putting anything back in just left it open. And once u take the chrome cover off and drill out the spot welds. Cut the whole tube about 1/2 away from the front where the 2 pipes go into the shell. and the whole baffle should slid out.

  • Or you can just punch/drill holes in the baffels if u don't want it to loud. But i really like the sound it makes with it open. And it still looks stock. But doesn't act like it. ;)

  • did you have to re jet it ?

  • I knew THAT stock pipe had potential. How did you gut it?
