well the new beige is black and silver and... IT SUCKS!!! black and sliver is not only used in all pcs but in everthing from radios to vacumm cleaners. even mac that used to have original colors went black and silver. i hope more people start buying beige pcs beacouse BLACK AND SILVER MUST DIE!!!!!!! if everything electronic must be black and silver at least the computers are gotta be some other color.

Beige? because PC never had taste and never will. They tend to make effort now but they are far away beyond in industrial design. pc are made out from cheap balck plastic that does not suport heat and do not contribute to heat sinking. design is not only how it look but also how it works. aluminium is so rich and warm as it distribute the heat uniformly and it is beautiful too and environment friendly. pc sucks! mac rules! as always!

@zzjimmai59 I bought an aluminium case for my self built PC.

PC is not just one computer, it's a whole range of different things from a cheap, crap office beige PC to a my Vaio P or a Crysis capable silent beast that is my power house.

A well built PC is even better than an iMac because I can expand mine to have more USB ports, multiple Firewire ports, the best graphics cards (the best can't be put in an iMac for heat reasons) and the best Processors.

32" HDTV as the screen as well.

No, of course not. I love the colour beige, and especially on PC's. I love beige on PC Cases, preferably next to a glossy blue or silver trim, beige keyboards, mice, monitors, printers, scanners etc. Its just so classic. Thats why I get put off from buying some new computers or laptops being in some 'shiny' black and silver. Thats why I have a silver/beige laptop, and beige peripherals including speakers, printers etc. I just wish that we could all go back to that 'classic' PC Colour of beige.
