In todays world of politics within the US a lot of big companies fund candidates. Whats the difference, they all still provide the candidate with their own vested interests. And yes, JFK's older brother, Joesph P. Kennedy Jr. was going to be the person who ran for president, not Jack. But unfortunately, during Operation Aphrodite (WWII), the plane Joe Jr. was flying blew up. And of course, he perished in it. It was a very unfortunate accident.

After this happened, Joe Sr. focused all of his attention on Jack. He now wanted his next oldest son, (Which was Jack), to be the president. And Jack succeeded. :)

I just had to a book report on JFK, I use to think he was a hero but now I know the truth about him, i am dissapointed.
