I am born and raised in Dekalb and the problem is that there is no jobs in Dekalb or at least the area they pertaining to. Its a war zone and people are doing whatever they got to do to feed their kids and themselves. There is just not enough jobs for the people of dekalb. I've lived in Dekalb Co my entire life. Dekalb is majority black and the majority of the black people living within Dekalb County are respectful intelligent people. You have alot of upper middle class and wealthy black people living in Dekalb County. The average median household income is 73k! I live in dekalb county and i have been thru the jail 3 times for misdemeanor charges. The thing that i notice with the dekalb police is that of corruption. Dekalb county police is very corrupt and that is why there are many people getting killed everyday. Dekalb doesn't give a shit about anything other than MONEY.
