Russia is not socialist state or communist by definition. Just because a system is not feasible or seem feasible in the near future, does not mean it will not happen. Would the caveman have ever dreamed of going into space? Time will tell, but one's hope for mankind shall never fade. Critics against socialism is lack of market signalling, but should the market drive the production? This seemed more true at the earlier stages of captitalism than now, isn't it?

Utopia of best society was presented by Confucius and his teaching in the first of the Four Books (DA TUNG). It was discribed as people never have to lock doors day or night,(people living in peace), all generations respect the others, the older people never have to worry about their necessity of life etc.  Look at what Internationale is saying: class struggle, taking over by force of others property, ruling the world by proleteraiats etc. Result: History of PRC 1949-1976.

Even China today, who rules? One party policy is embedded in Constitution. Who holds all the power and money, Communist party members. Most people are happier now as compared to the first 30 years of PRC rule. Analogy: a person strangled almost to death and as soon as he gets a breath of air when strangled hold released, he is so happen that he still alive. However there are too much corruption, inequality, lack of compassion towards less fortunate, no freedom of expression etc.

Personally, I also do not agree with the idea of proletarian dictatorship or to achieve socialism through drastic violent revolution. Therefore, I do not totally agree with Marx, whose idea was too extreme, determined by the era he lived in. The idea of socialism, as well as how it will be achieved also change with time. All these self-declared "socialist states" simply did not have the productive force sufficient for socialism, i.e. market signalling is still necessary in the present world.

I advise you to look around who is behind your back because the communist spies will like to get you and put you in jail for what you said here. Mind you most present ruling cadres of PRC think of Mao the same way as you manifest here but they will not speak out, and in their own self interest of clinging to power.
