Chuck cant upload the 'bad' intersect because ellie states in an early s5 episode that they only had one reload (the one that went into Morgan) and if season 4 is any indication, fear of death can unlock either chuck or morgans supressed intersect i think that this could go either way :)

i was really let down by the fact that morgan had the intersect, despite him loosing it after 4 episodes. I would love for Chuck to have been evil as his emotions is what makes him weak with the intersect. Regarding the episode i hope for the sake of season 5 that chuck regains the intersect as its clear he's vulnerable without it.

After reading everybody's comments, I think Chuck is finally the master. He fought the Intersect/Morgan and won. Nobody fights the Intersect and wins. I think Season 5 has been one big deception. Morgan uploaded Decker's Intersect and Chuck uploaded the Bartowski Intersect. It requires a governor to control it. The Bartowski Intersect requires the Governor to cotrol it. The Decker Intersect controls you like the pre-Governor Interesect 1.0 and 2.0.

But so far season 5 is just disappointing. First the morgansect, then just killing off Decker for no reason and now bringing Shaw back for the 3. time. Not to mention that chuck has become a whiny windbag and the whole story plot is just stupid. (a ominous supervirus that destroys the internet. of course)

He was a mere pawn in relation to the bigger picture. Nearly the whole of the CIA and NSA are with the plan to eliminate chuck. Furthermore Chuck's dad had to die 7 times, i don't see you complaining about that. Lastly by stating the whole plot is stupid generally makes you a hater, so why do you bother watching chuck now?

Plus Shaw is already insane anyway soit doesn't matter if he has the governor or not.

We never saw what was in his P.A.N.T.S. I reckon it was a pair of Intersect glasses which he was saving if he really needed them, he just didn't want to use them. At the end of season 3, Shaw was arrested and he's the guy in the prison at the end of the episode.

Remember at the end of season 4 when Chuck mentions how Orion was killed and Decker just laughs at Chuck? What if the person behind the locked door is Orion? Think about how Bryce Larkin was brought back from a near death state by Fulcrum. The CIA might have done the same.

She after all is a neurologist and has been studying her father's work for the past couple of seasons. I think after the events of the last episode Ellie will still want to help the team probably by working in Castle Now either she builds a new and inproved one, or equally cool Chuck is able to still access the IS abilities from such prolonged use and muscle memory.

Seems like a plausible outcome imo. And oh, Shaw is back! Loved him as a villain in S3, as an LI, not so much. But Shaw as a bad guy was pretty neat.
