This film was shown TONIGHT (Nov. 18, 2010) on TURNER CLASSIC MOVIES in ENGLISH. It was a fantastic portrayal of the plight of the 40 year old Francisco Goya against the ROMAN CATHOLIC SPANISH INQUISITION which hated his brilliant illustrations of their EVIL DEEDS. Excellent cast and acting!!!

This isn't one of the greatest movies ever made, thought not uninteresting.
And by the way you never got to see Ava Gardner nude!!!!
