I disagree, a few years ago it was like that, now it has changed... in locking you have khan to show you some soul and funk but most of asian lockers still fundamently dance in a technique base and few funk... but that's changing rapidly, you also can see in bboying battles the soul of gamblers crew nowadays for example... you shouldn't generalize an idea just because you've seen a couple of videos of asian guys dancing with just plenty of technique and no soul, they're not all like that!

It was later shortened to Locking and Don formed the dance group The Lockers. After that many different versions sprang up and each time was given a variation of the name (e.g., pop-lock, etc.)
