Don't get me wrong. I love any homage to Firefly, but it still doesn't beat the great Easter Egg from the first episode of the original BSG, during the Cylon attack on Caprica.
@takeingforever Rent Battlestar Galactica the "movie". It's basically the pilot episode and you can find it on DVD, possibly. Watch the scene as the Cylon fighters are making the initial attack on Caprica and towards the bottom of the screen, look at the lights.
Nice catch. Wish Firefly would come back. Got the complete series and Serenity on Blueray. Plus a nice ornament of the ship in my office on the desk lol.
It's in there because the people who did the CGI for BSG also did the CGI for Firefly (You can tell by how the camera sometimes looks around for stuff and lens flares.)

This is a bit of common knowledge for RIS BSG fans, that the Effects studio that did the CG work for the show from the mini-series to the end of the first season, which I do believe was called Zoic, were the same people who did the CG work for "Firefly", which explains why the ship is there.
was that intended to happen? or the ship just looks like serenity? cause that makes me think the shows are connected somehow
