  • After 30 seconds the number of "um" and "you know" 's made me unable to keep waching. Im sorry but it gets way to anyoing.

  • I highly recommend to all newcomers to get involved in whatever is the latest drafting format for MTG. IMO it is the best way to learn all about rules, set mechanics and deck construction in an environment where a new player actually has a chance of winning, all the while gaining cards to increase your collection. I find at my store, if a new player asks a common player a question he will often get good advice and our TD is fairly lenient towards helping them build the deck and play.

  • @WackyWombat15 If you haven't already got magic cards, what I would suggest doing, is buying a "duel decks" pack. It has 2 decks in it, and a rule book. It will give you everything you need to get two people together (Maybe someone you know) And just go at the game. You can switch back and forth between these two premade decks. And when you feel comfortable, you can buy other stuff to add on to it, or make a whole new deck.

  • A thing you also did not mention is that MTG has different formats to play, and that is a huge plus for them than YGO since YGO has maybe 2 formats at best while MTG has many different formats to play (standard, limited, block, legacy, edh, modern, etc.)

At least players from MTG tend to be more fair to others since I know many YGO players that intend to just rip off everyone.

  • @AlucardSparda Don't forget Vintage format (even if it's dying since many years, I know (especially in France, where I am))! :-)

  • I really enjoyed your video. I am myself a former yu-gi-oh player and transitioning into magic. So far I enjoy the game and your video gave me some basic knowledge of what to expect. I hope to see more.

  • yu gi oh has no strategy

  • @kktcguard i will more than likely

  • Hey I just came from your yugioh channel and I saw your video about magic and I decided to check the game out. This video really spark my interest in Magic. So I think you should continue this segment.

  • for someone who wonts to get in to the game who dos not have any cards what do u suggets whould be the best whay to get cards just to start out playing?

  • Actually, the downsides you have listed have not been a problem for me, or they are equally bad in YGO for me. I trade like a mofo and have made a couple hundred selling singles at big tourneys to players, you just need to do the selling before the whole thing starts. Your binder that you sold me will be the start of sweet trade and play binders. And I have run into TONS of ygo players that think they're dealers and offer pennies on the dollar for YGO
