I think he meant that in a situation seen in this video, the US Army would choose an Attack Helo over an A-10.

@GigaShotStudios the A-10 has a faster responce time just because it moves fater, i carries more payload than the apache, cobra, kiowa, etc. The Apache is slower naturally, so in the time the a-10 coulda been there, that friendly squad coulda been overrun by the time the apache got there

USMAI The Army would most likely operate Helicopter aircraft. If you meant the US Air Force, thats a different story

The airforce operates F-16,F-15 and A-10 As Common Fighters. but there are alot more aircraft.

the gau-8 is angled downwards 2 degrees from the fuselage of the a-10. and yes it is in fact most accurate from a 30-40 degree dive, although its pretty hard in project reality.
