these cars are trash, i drove my car for about 15 minutes before a screw came loose and fell out. the suspension came apart and the axle got lost. i searched for it for an hour and finally found it. I replaced the screw and drove it again, ANOTHER SCREW FELL OUT, it will not hold together. LITERALLY every single time I drove it, screws would fall out. I had to repair it after every single session. Then one day i hit a bump and the entire front snapped off the chassis. DO NOT BUY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This car is junk, Bought it from they will not allow you to return the car or answer thier phone. Mine broke 20 feet down the drive way. They recommended me to glue the screws in with locktite I did and it did not hold. They will answer emails but not call you or take a car back. paid over 200 and used for less than 20 minutes total three times trying to repair.

yea they are durable and you can buy replacments for evey part...the stock madspeeds Are brushed motors 10year old tec!!! i strongly sugest geting a LIPO-BRUSHLESS stock drift star... they come pre installed with 2.4g radio and recever, 2.4g teck will LET YOU DRIVE FURTHER THAN YOU CAN SEE and the brushless motors will double your speed and tork! The 2.4g recever also lets you connect the car to its remote easy and you will never cross frequency's with any other cars or planes in the area..

@KookyMunsterABC Madspeed has ball diffs, the ability to use existing spur gears like kimbrough and is more tuneable. The driftstar has metal gear diffs (less maintenace) . But they are both tons of fun.

I would take the madspeed. In my opinion a better all around car.

For drifting the stock tires work well. I like traction so I used some hpi tires.
