I just beat this boss a few hours ago for the Wii version. Despite the sharp pain in my left hand when I was done, I very much enjoy the high levels of interactivity from the Wiimote. That being said, I don't think that you can compare that with the fluidity of the PS2's Dualshock controller. >_>

@bethtarts55 Both are right, actually. They sometimes refer to her as Okami Amaterasu which means the great god Amaterasu. So simply calling her okami is referring to her title instead of her actual name. [/nerdy explanation]

I got to this stage in the game and thought it was gonan be the end, I felt sad then it was like the storys not over and I got the most giddy feeling ever =D. Another 15 or so hours to go I think from this point, not sure as I just reached it.

I only died once, 'cept I didn't actually die, my Astral Pouch saved me. =D So yeah, once you get the hang of it it's not that hard. Especially if you stock up on Holy Bones. I usually have about twenty small, fifteen medium, and ten large. =D

Correct. I have save points for the next two bosses. I'm not quite sure when I'll get around to capturing them though as I'm really into the game right now. ;) Hopefully sometime in the next couple of weeks during my winter break.

Yes, it's my first playthrough of the game. This recording is not my first time fighting Orochi though.

For this fight especially I have to try and make it quick. Otherwise the length of the battle would most likely be over 20 minutes, and unable to upload.

That makes sense. Play through the boss fight, learn how to whup them, then go back and record you owning them hardcore. Nice setup.
