i rememeber hearing about john lennon playing a role in it saying "eleticity" i might be worng. nice thingy , by the way. i am sure pauls carnvil of lihgt will be different. but who knows, for all we know, your might even be better!
How many TVs you got going in that room, buddy? Oh yeah - I like the song. Sounds like Beatles mashed together with 1969 Floyd. The opera singer at the end sounds straight from a Morrissey show.
I actually think Carnival of Light *has* been bootlegged after all. Those who do have it know how rare it is and aren't willing to share which is why it isn't floating around on the net.
One guy commenting on a newspaper article I saw online says he heard it in a bar in Amsterdam in 1993 because the barman's friend of a friend of a friend etc. worked at a recording studio and got a load of bootlegs. He said it sounded like something from Sgt. Pepper but that he hadn't heard it before.
I swear that was seve "barcelona!" on the slow motion TV--could have used a baby armadillo climbing on your neck and a random 400 pound naked guy denying the holocaust behind you but this is the abridged version anyway....
Man, when we finally hear the beatles play Carnival of Light, we're gonna wonder what the heck you're doing here....but, it's OK, in it's own right. We're all gonna be amazed to hear the original. I'm sure none of us have a clue to it's greatness....oh yeah, are you stoned in this video? good work!!
this video is a cover song of a Beatles song that very few people have actually heard. I my self have never heard this song, but I have read a general description of the song, that was printed in a book called "The Complete BEATLES Recording Sessions" By: Mark Lewisohn.
Pretty good. Even though it's not as complex as some other attempts, this is probably closer to the original in the sense that it doesn't have a techno/dance music sound to it. More just meandering sound loops and gibberish vocals.
Btw, I really like the sort of creepy vocal noises.
agreed. this is certainly the best interpretation i've ever come across - not that i've heard the song myself, but it seems to tick more boxes than any other
Really cool! I didn't know your "covers", great job. When it will be possible to hear the very first one, the true one... Maybe never lol.
Kind of music some should try. I've just finished one, as an answer... "F#cking" Carnival of Light, we are waiting for it... hehehehehe ^^. Peace. Keep on good art.
is this really the recording?

Thank You!! I think its pretty neat!! I would like to hear the real think as well. :)

Based on what I've read I don't think this cover is as far off as you think.
The closest you will get is listening to "Return of the Son of Monster Magnet" by Frank Zappa and imagining a darker, slower variant of it.

You are correct!! I love the mothers of invention!

Either way, I'm really into psychedelic music and even if you were totally off (not implying you were) this was a really, really good composition.
