I believe it is spelled "Allegheny" in PA and "Alleghany" in MD, The official name is the "Great Allegheny Passage".

I've been over that before & took some beautiful pics. I didn't walk the whole way across. Just out to the middle over the road way. I Love having an aunt & uncle that live in Meyersdale. Beautiful land and country side out there. My next quest is to hit the Abandoned Pa Turnpike on the east side of the Sidling Hill Tunnel, and old Cove Valley rest stop. To bad they tore down the rest stop.
