  • que marca de quena usan ?????????

  • Not bad at all. To really enjoy this song played in quena, the best version I heard was by musician Lucas of the famous folk band Puma Punku.

  • Hi! Thank you for your kind comment. I really appreciate it. It is a very fun song to play on the Quena. I will try to look for that version :D

  • Hey you play pretty good quena :) Just one word of advice, practice on making the piece "flow" more with the notes less choppy. But otherwise I like it. You do the half notes very well! this is one of my favorite songs from Bolivia. Jallalla Bolivia!

  • Thanks for the comment and for the advice! I have yet to practice playing the segunda octava. Thanks again and I am happy you enjoyed it! It is a very fun song to play. Jallalla Bolivia!

  • Yeah its a really fun song, I'm going to practice this song and maybe I can post it also. Yeah, practicing quena is really fun, its one of the most fun things for me. Do you play zampoña too?

  • I'll definitely listen to it when you post it. Of course I play zampoña, it's like the Quena's sister. :)

  • So true, I have never met a quena player who didnt play both, you just can't be called a "vientista" unless you play both :D

Until I post La Aromeñita you can look at some of my quena and zampoña vids on my page :)

    Best wishes!
