I say the toughest enemy in the game(excluding Dr. Tongue(boss)) would be a tie between the big ass Snakoids(first seen on level 20) Frankenstein(first seen on level 7(look reeeeaaaallly hard in the upper right hand corner of the map)) and Dracula(first seen on level 21.....I think) and I played this game(SNES VERSION!!!!) about 5 hours ago!

@zombiefan2112 Nope, I think the toughest boss in the game is the giant spider in level 30. That bastard constantly destroys me, and I've only been able to beat him twice EVER. The final boss of the game is far easier than the giant spider in level 30. The snakeoids are easy, all you have to do is wait for them to come out, and then run away, turn around, and fire a bazooka. Five bazooka shots kills one no problem!

TONGUE)..." and your level is OH so close, lvl 36 and the giant spider is CRAZY easy. i save the majority of my monster potions and bazooka and beat the ____ outta him. i think the hardest enemy including bosses is the boss of lvl 48. Dr. Tongue tansforms into a giant spider again but after you beat that he transforms into a giant robotic head and after you beat that congratz you win. only performed by me once!

@zombiefan2112 Watching this video inspired me to play ZAMN yesterday. I forgot all about the fact that the final boss's first form is the damn spider. I hate that thing.

If you want, you can watch a video I recorded of it and put up on my channel. I was down to my last life and last bar of health while battling the final form of Dr. tongue and recorded it because I couldn't believe I won so close to death.

OH my. that level was and still is so freaky! Remember me and my dad used to play together in that level... It was so hard and scary! Especially when two players freak out and run through different maze portions, where one is running away from chainsaw dudes, and the other one bump into dead end!!

I did that in that level but have you played through the entire game without losing a life, without cheat codes/using passwords to get to a level, and without a game over? I can tell you from experience that its tough as hell to do like what you did. Congrats on that.

It's funny how they mix Jason and Leatherface and create this horrifying masked killer.

He gives me the creeps, especially when he see's you and revs the chainsaw.

The music and sfx in this game is superb and the whole fact that they tribute horror movies!

The SNES version was so much better than the Genesis version. The music was a lot better, and the Genesis missed out on a lot of sound effects. Also the Genesis version had 1/4th of the screen cut off to show the radar.

I would use the beast potion here (from level 2). And you could get another one in the hedge block. Made things much easier. If you had the skillz, you could kill all the Maniacs with two beast potions. You then got a "chainsaw begone" bonus. It was almost as exhilarating as repulsing the alien invasion.
