@yumcakes1 They are very different games. I played both. WoW was great if I was short on time but wanted to do some quests, but sense fo accomplishment was crap cause it was all easy, and it's now easier. FFXI has a much better presentation of story and you feel great when you hit mile-stones, but it does take a lot of time.

Fun fact!

You know why there were all those people going through Oztroja at the end (other than it's just random trailerness)? Originally, there were no sneak and invisible spells. There was no way to avoid aggro. If you wanted to go through a dungeon, you had to fight through it. I'm sure SE invisioned large groups like that one perpetually fighting through all the dungeons.

I hate the fact is online online :S, i think that Square could do it Single if they want, meybe in a 3 or 4 Disc Edition.

I will love to play it, but i dont know how is the ps2 net or buying the pass etc for playing it.

FFXII is probably as close to a single player FFXI as a game could be.

There's no way FFXI would ever work as a single player game.

final fantasy 11 is only online  rise of zilhart,chains of phithart,treasures of aht urhgan and wing of the goddes are the expansion packs
