Why are yall comparing? They are two different singers, from two different Genres. Kelly obviously has a bigger rangier voice. Fantasia has a more soulful gospel voice. There was no holding back from either one of them in this performance. They were both raised in the church, and you can tell from this performance..Good job to both of them.

Their voices were MADE for this kind of singing. They were on FIRE!! I'm not even religious and I felt the lord in this youtube video. LMAO!
Side Note: I do think it's funny how Kelly had a "blacker" ass than Fantasia. She has a great figure!!....Not in a gay way...Just sayin' if I were a guy and things were different....O_O

@seanievortex Kelly followed her from the time she took the stage until the end. They are different types of singers, Kelly is pop and Tasia is soul. I just happen to love soul singers. Fantasia could have easily taken over that song. Now, I am in no way saying that Kelly can not sing. I just think she was out of her element.

@saushababetta agree 100%. I believe that Fantasia was a little subdued and did not want to take over the song because that was not what it was about, but she easily could have. Fantasia is an attention grabber, not on purpose, but she just has that incredible stage presence. She could have taken that stage over, but as I said, that was not what she wanted to do. They were singing about Jesus. It should not be a competition, and it wasnt. Kelly did a very good job though.

It is crazy how much more powerful Kelly's voice is than Fantasia!! Particularly from 2:49-3:07. She left Fantasia in the dust!! It's almost like Fantasia's voice got tired!! Soulful!
