Mr. Thomas Roberts was out before this interview. It figures that the ever-repugnant Barron would be licking Mehlman's ass saying "forget about what happened 5 or 6 years ago" and just be thankful that he's on our side now. Really? Mehlman worked against his own community as the architect of legislation that ruined the lives of thousands of gay and lesbian Americans. I can't comment on the story itself for some reason, but you (ThinkProgress) have misidentified the anchor as Peter Alexander when it's actually former CNN Thomas Roberts. He came out in an interview with Anderson Cooper a couple years ago.
