@CamarastiaStudio do you fail or what.... you take the uthmor skull cleaver and the tkash mirrorblade and combine them... i havent played this game in a while. and if you read below like a smart person you would know that i already know what things i did wrong.... you know what... for being such a dick im gonna take the video down so no more dumbasses like you come in and think ur soooo amazing and that im such a noob.
Ok thank you for all your help I'll try to use your suggestions the next time I play. These are just items that I found work OK for MM I'm not really very pro and could never beat nightmare. This guid was more for lower level people although ur tips are probably alot better
Plus the stuff that costs more will be better at the endgame. I always am so obssessed to get the ring first that I forget the elven armor. All the mana gear is so that 1. You dont run out of mana pots in battle and having a low mana reg. 2. It makes you able to spend less money on pots later. Thanks for the comments and I'm sure that anyone who reads your comments will benifit greatly. Sorry I didn't 'reply' to the comment but i'm on my ipod so I can't easly reply.
Yes all the stuff u say is true. As this is my frist guid plus I couldn't get my mic to work an stuff. I normally reccomend MM in games where it's 3v3 - 1v1 because of splash and spell spamming. Also I do stand up on the cliff in most games but we kept pushing forward and then falling back. The mirror blade is good because it adds damage plus 700 to stats and chance to critc.
The reason you buy potions instead of mana gear is because it saves money and allows you to buy gear for the tanking hero. Moon Mage is fine on large teams, I played a recent 5v5 game on nightmare with practically no mana gear, I was able to do my job and pool the tank. If you want I can send you the replay.
Late game items are more easily afforded later on, but the later you get them it's actually the less useful they are. There simply is no way to make MM a killer with her attack even wit gear
late game. The creeps later on have fortified armor and ridiculous health amounts, MM's attack doesn't matter then. Not only that but it costs a lot to get mirror blade, even if you're playing extra bounty, which is likely only time you can afford it, the money is better spent elsewhere. Late game turns into a summon fight spending the money getting mana for your spell bringer is a smarter idea.
I started the mtguide and it's great that you're trying to make a guide, but I disagree with a few things
You didn't use moonbeam's mana regen enough or even to help the sniper, if you had used the beam properly and used mana potions+hisans you don't even need that much mana gear.
If you're not going to get armor or health potions it's safer just to fight on the cliff due to offense.
Moon should never benefit from Uthmor's mirror blade, it can be better used on combat heroes and by the time Moon can afford it her damage output from her attack doesn't matter
Ring of Victory Scepter and Iron Bark do help but are expensive and you don't have to get them in regular games (non Extra Bounty), again they help but are not required for Moon Mage to do her job. Elven Plate is enough so she doesn't die instantly and you can buy anti magic potions to deal with offensive spells.
