I hate the style. they try too hard to make it seem contemporary. feels like i'm using a fucking mac. making everything colourless isn't an improvement. also, the embedded text style on the buttons (with the lighter outline on the bottom and shadow on top to make it seem "set-in") is getting really old and overused. too much contrast overall.

Change is fine as long it's not a move to something so absolutely brain dead that you have to jump through stupid hoops to try and approximate something that already worked well and was very convenient. Not everything has to be like fucking Facebook and Twitter.

I sorta prefer it... it needs some changes though such as I don't like how when you 'thumbs up or down a comment, a) they're in grey and b) it just makes them bold round the outside. Imo, it needs more colour.

Ideally, you could pick your own layout, that would solve all the problems. People could even make their own layouts and submit them for others to use.

I remember the first big change, when they got rid of the stars rating... that was hard to adapt but this is literaly bullshit.. the new homepage, I don't really care for that, I think its cute, new features, but the grey collor, and the lines, and the huge buttons, wtf... OK ok.. the only change I would make, is get rid of the new channel layout which sucks ass, and make the comment section top to bottom with white again, rest is ok.. I guess...

Because I used to be able to see my friends' recent activities on my main feed or youtube's main homepage and now I can't. I can only see a long, ugly cluttered list of my subscriptions' feeds : (. Do I subscribe to all my friends just to have their activity on my feed again? I liked being able to see what they uploaded or liked w/o subscribing.

You know that you can make the bookmarks smaller if you recognize the thumbnails for each site. You right click the bookmark->edit->Remove the name->Voila
