i like my soul alot more than i liked the cube. to me the soul felt more comfortable to sit in than the cube did. the cube felt like i was sitting on bricks and the soul didnt. and the soul doesnt really handle like a little truck

Went car shopping and between the cube and soul. I got a soul because it looks nice and modern and it's easy to use on the inside. The cube looks really retarded both inside and out and not only that the roof on the cube is a water droplet in a lake and is all rippled.

I never understood why people are so insistent on buying new. Why would someone pay 20K, for a piece a junk like this, when you can get a solid preowned vehicle, with an extended warranty?

Great point. I would go for a lightly used Cooper S or VW GTI I think. Similar storage and layout but unlike the Cube and Soul that just think they are cool, they actually are cool and decently fast too!

@zadeh79 Because an extended warranty for three years will run you $2000-$4000. A new Soul has a 60,000 bumper to bumper and a 100,000 powertrain warranty. I paid less the $14,000 for my soul plus and in has a roof, spoiler, and upgraded stereo. Not to mention alot of things aren't covered with a used extended warranty. I pay less than $250 per month on a buy. Why wouldn't you buy new?

In regards to driving dynamics: the souls shoes are to blame, I mean honestly with rims this big and tires lacking this much in thickness, what else do you expect? Ultimately, consumers prefer the Soul over the Cube because the Cube is everything short of cute or nice looking and well, it's too much styling wise to deal with. I'd rather be indifferent than have puke in my mouth everytime I see one of them driving by, thankfully few are buying it.
