I know I'm kinda late but I've been transitioning for awhile now (14months post) and I'm about APL-BSL, most likely APL for when I finally cut off my relaxed ends. When it came to my braid outs (I'm 3C-4B), I ALWAYS work with my hair wet and as I did my braid outs, I moistened it with a spray bottle (coconut oil/water) and let it sit for a moment before I unbraid or untwist my hair.
hey they sell just natural henna which will tent your hair red but its not as bold. I get mine off ebay a pound at a time and keep it in the freezer. it will just say natural henna there will be no color advertised.
