i just found this. i have 3 kids myself. if this happened to them i'd have to HANG the

person responsible right there on a tree or pole for all the other drunks to see and

not care about my life beyond that. drunks are not afraid of going to jail when they

get in a car. they might however think twice about it after seeing one of their friends

die at the hands of pissed off parents or friends of the victims. someone 47 should know better, teenagers can't be expected to.

It occurred to me that when you're on the road, you'd think that the last place you'd ever get into an accident would be when you're stopped at a light in the middle of a median. Im so sorry for all of your losses, it angers me that drunk drivers are so relaxed when they cause an accident, that they feel nothing. I bet that bitch doesnt feel bad for what she has done. My heart goes out to everyone effected by this. I will never understand why it's always the drunk who walks away. The laws need to change drastically for the losers like this waste of skin to get it. Attempted murder charges should be handed out to those who injure others, pre-meditated murder for those who kill. a good friend of mine was killed by a drunk driver. I never met the guy. I honestly know very little about who he is. I do hope that if I ever meet him that I can forgive him, and show kindness and grace to him. I don't know if I would though... if I ever do meet him. It takes alot to forgive sometimes :( even if you really want to.

2 weeks ago, i was in a car accident, and the first thing i thought about was these teens. they didnt get a chance...but i was lucky enough to be alive. one of my good friends died last night in a car accident. i still can't get over the shock.

I agree- even it were true-- one still has to make the choice to drink the booze and then drive. IMHO its also not a disease- a disease can't make you drink and start your van... She owns these deaths completely (excuses are not a defence in this case). Some how the simple concept of "Don't Drink and Drive" can't be understood by some. That is unfortunate- because no one has to drive drunk and no one has to die from it -- its absolutly preventable. Read it, Know it, Live it.
