It is funny how she's acted like every other male rocker but somehow she winds up being labeled a bitch while her male couterparts are badass. But to each his own.

@grahamlaur you are so right, the sheer raw edge of Sage's Tone is what makes this song...& maybe back then these guys couldn't afford the "top of the line" equiptment of their day, but i tell ya what they did the best with what they had & thats what i miss about ol' school punk like the wipers.
I have seen them 2 or 3 times in Thessaloniki-Greece in the '80s. Their live performances didn 't last long, but they were exploding. One of their lives was in an old underground disco!!! Sage was a very good guitarist and performer. Their live sound was very near to heavy bands. Very nice memories.
Salonika...Greece...stinky clubs,sweat bodies,leather and jeans,smoke all over,cans of beers on the air,spitting,ouzo,bongo and the speakers lound,louder in our ears!Bad Dionysos was there and we were dringing his extasy wine...How many times I have seen them live!!Every time the same feeling...even now it comes back...

@altroval I will tell you from my point,as I lived it.Somewhere after '87, '88,new radio stasions,start to playing all these new sounds from Australia,New Zealand,Holland,Sweden etc.Hundreds of bands that we're trying to wright their songs on cassetes,and latter ask for their L.P.s.
Wipers was the first or one of the firsts that came for Live.But I believe that the SOUND of Wipers was the sound that every one of us was searching at that time.The desparate feeling of the guitar?...........
