The render engine is great. However, a realistic workflow should allow the user to edit the models even after models have been assigned materials.
What is seen here is merely a simple export of 3d objects without ways of modifying the object after that. This is not good for real world workflow as it is often needed to continually modify and improve the models or design.
Octane Render is a great engine, but it has some very important missing features when coming to animation! I think Octane Power Tools (google octane power tools) completes the circle by allowing camera and light animation in both realtime and saved renders mode. Also you can check it at octanepowertools youtube channel.
Oh my damn, that tip on exporting file saved my ass. I was hell bent on getting the application, but the continual crashing with no explaination was the straw that was breaking the camels back. Thank 1000 x's over.
