Scenario.... "officer I've been mugged in the high street", officer starts to take details & the first question you ask will be "there's CCTV on High Street, has the offender been captured on it" Anyone against CCTV this will quite possibly the first thing you ask so stop whining your crap!
cameras every where yet crime is still high .fight back ,remember governments are meant to be there for us all,not just the rich.we pay taxes so they can live very well.no pay restrictions for them,no council ax for them,no vat for them.pay your taxes the government needs your money for their life style.fight back.dont be scared by the lies.
I really don’t mind cameras in stores or in private homes, I understand people want to feel safe, but the other day I saw on the news about the new technology for higher security with cameras that check even your mood. That is scary, not only do they check your age, race, weight, but now mood. And these cameras follow your every step. Not to mention the satellite pictures they take.
Web search: CameraFRAUD. As the cameras go up so does the opposition to them but we need you to get involved! Take the cameras DOWN! Restore the 4th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution.
You know you're no longer in a democracy when the cameras point on some (average citizens) and not others (the elite). I hope whoever is orchestrating the big brother take-over is not stupid enough to let this destroy pax americana.
So, how long before the cameras are fitted with tranquilizer darts, tasers, or machine guns?
What difference would it make?
The cameras provide security for everyone, provided they are operated by the public, for that purpose only. Any other use is unlawful use.
We do not fear the cameras, the problem is we know we cannot trust who is behind them. And, we all know that pictures can be falsified. Therefore we must enforce our right to photograph and record our surveyors.
Well, that's the ultimate question, which has to start somewhere. I'm only saying it's harder to fake a video, if someone else is shooting the same thing at the same time.
I mean if what they are doing is criminal, then we have to assume it will be abused.
We can watch back. But to stop them at anything would mean putting a stop to them.
amen to that! i have the most garish looking CCTV at the end of my street, ironically its got loads of graffiti etched into it... although i think the things on top of the the traffic lights you showed are just detectors to check for traffic, and as far as i'm aware don't receive visual information (although sometimes they can fire a camera further down the road if you run a red)

He who sacrifices freedom for security deserves neither.
1984 was not supposed to be an instruction manual.

Increased corruption and belligerence from Establishment
Increased infringement of privacy
Worsening respect for boundaries: Excessive voyeurism, greed, avarice, and debauchery
Increased energy-vampirism from toxic people in our midst
Emotional depression, rising anxiety, and paranoia
Flagrant abuse of good will
Retaliation against the character and counsel of the good
Changes in Hartmann Waves, Schumann Frequency, Ultra Violet Light, Axial Wobble, Light from Sun, etc,
How Do you feel?
