I want you to notice the correaltion between the republican party distancing itself from Bush (later in his second term when his approval rating tanked) and when Fox News started openly criticizing Bush through their commentaries. It was a precise political move in order to strengthen Republican support for the upcoming election. Fox still did what the GOP wanted them to do, and it put them in a better position to compete (sort of)

glenn beck is a libertarian, and there are many people on fox that are not republicans. I have never seen an administration where you weren't allowed to publicly disagree with them. Obama and his staff, their supporters that don't want any other opinions out there are making sure that we end up with a conservative administration next election. You can't ignore, belittle and mock the american people and think there won't be a back lash.

Im a moderate and watch all stations and I agree that the White House shouldn't have a Beef with Fox but BACKLASH wont matter because Fox News isn't Fair and Balanced. Shep Smith is Fair and maybe Bill Hemmer but even Fox and Friends is Biased as all hell. Fox News is a loud voice but the White House should call them out by name. Look at The Fox Nation website and FoxNews calls TheFoxNation a Fair and Balanced site LMAO. Fox and Friends is Fair less Balanced than Morning Joe and that is a Fact.

to bittyrock.. fox doesn't just make statements that aren't true. Yes, most of the people are conservative, but they people of many different political beliefs that work there. And there will be a backlash. Many of us in the middle are taking the right's side because of the way the administration is handling things. Whatever happen to people being able to believe different things? The left right now is very militant, and you better not disagree with them or you will be bashed and flamed.

For someone in the middle you need to understand this as a non-issue. If a news organization follows directly in party rhetoric, calling them out is not a problem but is stating the obvious. If MSNBC was called out during the Bush years I would not have a problem, its very true that it is as much a product of the Democratic arm as Fox is with the Republicans. Hardcaore conservatives agree as well, you see Michael Savage (outside of Murdoch's machinations) argue to this point constantly

You are making a key mistake. I want you to notice the correaltion between the republican party distancing itself from Bush (later in his second term when his approval rating tanked) and when Fox News started openly criticizing Bush through their commentaries. It was a precise political move in order to strengthen Republican support for the upcoming election. Fox still did what the GOP wanted them to do, and it put them in a better position to compete (sort of)

when attacking fox news, they always use very general terms, but fox news have videos and audio clips to support what they are saying.. this whole attitude from the white house is horrible, and they are making independent moderates like myself really turn away from this administration. I have stopped watching cnn and others because they are so slanted in favor of the president, it's crazy what they will ignore. Keep it up white house. You are damaging yourself.
