A lot has changed in the new Skaven Armybook. The Slaves do not run... they scatter harming all units close. They made the Warpfire Cannon better and cheaper, and they added a ton of new stuff. Yes you get points for the Screaming bell. You would not want to take on a Clan Pestilens army with undead. Even a 1000 point army could have given you lots of trouble.

the new skaven mounts will even out the odds if you go up aginst a tough army the hell pit monstrosaty is amazing i know its not out yet but you can draw a carbord picture of it and say its it like when i started playing the 92 version rant over

@miyagiFTNS Jezzails aren't weapon teams. If they were they would have to be deployed within 3" of a unit of Clanrats.

@miyagiFTNS Weapon Teams and Jezzails are separate entries in the Bestiary, so Jezzails may be weapon teams in fluff, but not as far as the rules are concerned. They can charge into combat just like any other unit.

his army seems fine considering the tactic he used against tomb kings, if he had of taken storm vermin they might have gotten across the board to find out that they were outnumbered by undead = instant break tests if they fail, so by trying to delay his troops with slaves and shooting them up with the ranged units he had a good chance.

Are you sure that wlc can placed in the woods? it follows the same rules as chariots do and I am not convinced that chariots can do so?

I think the skaven player has built his army in a very bad way. To few troops, to many jezzails and warplightning cannons dude, more clanrats and scryre weapons like the ratling gun!

@axelc1 i use 200 clanrats six ogres 8o plague monks doomwheel warp lightning cannon and other stuff dont remember but i got to say if those gutter runners succeded it would of been different very good match great armies and it wasent about winning but about fun and love 4 the game

Interesting looking table you have there, what sort of dimensions? It looks very similar to a drafting board used by architects or something along those lines.

Isn´t it funny to kill a unit of slaves, only to find out that you have only killed 40 points!

And I guess that you will get victory points for the destroyed screaming bell, should be in the army book.

And if you thought that was skaven, you´re wrong, skaven is a horde army, so they usually have more troops. =D
