  • So this is what has become of rock'n'roll: a "comfort zone"... I'm not impressed, Dave, not at all. Why don't you go bang some chicks and throw a TV set out of the hotel window?

    :-I

  • You are an amazing Guitar Teacher! Thanks for sharing!!!

  • there's never a bad guitar video that mentions the name guthrie govan.

  • what overdrive pedal are you using ?

  • @Rafael203 - just an EP booster.

  • @riffoftheweek Sounds amazing!!

  • The hair tie trick....love it ...back to the big hair days..:-)

  • Dave, check out the band Russian Circles. Their guitar player uses tapping all the time. The song "Death Rides A Horse" is a great example.

  • Studying for my Music Performance exam next week by watching your videos.. You're a great teacher!

  • you mentioned guthrie govan yay!!! this is nnow my favorite video

  • Dave, I love you man but please, for the last time, ditch the titfer or I will be sending you requests for fresh halibut on a Friday morning.

  • Isnt this the song from "how the grinch stole christmas" that the who's sing?

  • @Starsmuse - read the song info at the bottom left.

  • @riffoftheweek I realize the song at the end is yours, and its a great song btw, but i was referring to the tapping part at 2:10 i just thought it was interesting.

  • @Starsmuse It definitely sounds like it!

  • @Starsmuse i think it is XD

  • *starts tapping really fast, makes funny face, and slides down the neck* "and itll just keep going" lol dave, you made my day with that :p

  • very 'Sevens'-like!! SUPER COOL DAVE.

  • nice lesson dave.. what's your opinion on chris broderick? his 8-finger tapping is just oustanding, in my opinion

  • Very nice i love how it sound !!!!!

  • I need to keep my nails on my right hand for the main styles I play but still want to get into tapping. How would you recommend a classical/flamenco player to do finger-tapping techniques?

  • Love the "hammer from nowhere" tap sound plus applying rhythm, great lesson!

  • I've been playing for 18 years and never really got into tapping well, but I'd like to. Thanks for giving a simple intro to this. I know how hard it is to produce good videos (see the pedal demos in my channel). Thanks again!
