  • Most interesting, informative, beautiful...Great job! C. Finch is an excellent harpist!

  • Thanks for this information.

  • What a fascinating project, Ms. Finch! Bless you for bringing this information to the public in such an interesting and accessible way.

You should be very proud of this endeavor!

  • i love the intro song she plays, does anyone have any idea what it's called ?

  • It's the Impromtu by Faure - splendid music indeed!

  • It's Faure "Impromptu Op.86"

  • Fascinating to learn more about the amazing Ethiopian Begena - 10 strings...exactly the same number of strings found on the Kinnor; the ancient Jewish Temple lyre, as described in the ancient writings of the Jewish Historian Josephun Flavius! Anyone know anything more about the smaller Krar lyre, also played in East Africa?

  • @Klezfiddle1 I do play Kirar, five string, and simple to play.

  • The run at 1:02 gave me chills man, beautiful playing.

  • A very excellent program - however, I was disappointed to see no mention of Ireland and the rich Irish harping tradition.

  • I hope you looked on in the series! They get to Ireland in part 2. There are six parts to this program in all.

  • A fascinating programme and a talented and delightful performer. I'm almost tempted to forsake my guitar and buy a harp! Thanks for making this available to everyone. I'm sure many form the Steve Vai message board will be checking it out!

  • @anilsahal I've taken up the harp since watching this series. I still enjoy my guitar though.
