Funny how this got past the censors don't you think? despite there's no nipples on the tits, it's still arousing. This was my first exposure to a naked girl in animation when i was 4 when i saw this epsiode as i was blushing, hell when i was 16 rewatching the show on Toonami when they had neat anime i got a boner. The new Cheetara is just as sexy.

Cool episode, i always adored Cheetara since i was 4 since i saw this episode and it was her with Cleo from Heathcliff and M'ress from the Star Trek animated show that made me like catgirls.

@TheMangakid1995 Only when they're not in battle-ready mode, which seems to be on a constant basis on the TV series. Makes sense that they wouldn't want that much clothing on...They /are/ cats, after all, even if they are on two legs :-P

It was deleted for the syndication repeats, which are the copies that got released on the official DVD's. The only way to own the uncut version is a copy of the original TV airing from 1985 or a copy of the VHS 'Exodus' released by FHE in the USA and Video Collection in the UK in the late 80's. You should be able to find that VHS on eBay.

This scene was never deleted. I remember watch this when I was a kid (before the Internet was wide-spread) and this scene was shown on live TV as part of the original series.

@luizaudeBR The scenes were intact when the episode first aired on TV. They were the deleted from the syndicated version of Exodus that was released on the DVD's.

u know i noticed that a few years ago when we first started getting colored cartoons and foreign animes that a lot of the animal/human hybrids had no clothing or anatomical parts that differentiated them. only recently when Christians started complaining did the networks start changing and considered all characters not only needed clothes but anatomical parts. i'm not trying to say Christians were in the wrong but if they didn't want their kids to watch it they should have shut the tv off.

Most of the music cues for the episodes "Unholy Alliance", "Berbils" and "Slaves of Castle Plundar" are different on the "Exodus" VHS version too. There's a scene with the mutants from episode 2 on the DVD version not on the VHS. (When Slythe says that they're not on Third-Earth for sigh-seeing. As well as the scene order is changed around slightly since the scene is missing. The Trollog fight is missing from episode 3 too.

This scene and others were carelessly left out of the dvd. I wasn't to thrilled with W.B. about it. when this and the suspension capsule part were cut out where Wilykit was crying, W.B. had cut out the guts, heart and soul of this wonderful ep. all for precious time. SHAME ON YOU W.B.!!!

no this is on a vhs i think exodus not on the dvd dont rely on me though but im sure its not on the dvd

@brollicon Absolutely correct - the first half of this scene was part of the hour-long ThunderCats pilot, but when the pilot was cut into the individual episodes "Exodus" and "The Unholy Alliance", the second half of this scene (from the line "Jaga's right") was cut for time... :(

The pilot was released on VHS as "ThunderCats: Exodus", which is where this scene is taken from! :)

Its such a shame that there werent more extras such as these deleted scenes on the DVD releases.

Maybe someday we'll get a revamped DVD with extras like this one and maybe some commentaries from the voice actors.
