I wish someone would put together a contemporary documentary on the current status of the Native American tribes. I saw a few documentaries back in the 90's, that painted a somewhat tragic picture, but I'm sure things have long since changed. If anyone has any kind of overall picture of how things are or what's been happening the past decade, please share.

FINALLY! Some real native music, proper traditional stuff, not that new-age 'inspirational' mood music crap. Yeah I know this is probably more contemporary than the real traditional stuff, but at least it's performed in the traditional spirit, not just dolled up like a cheap Vegas stage show.

The Aboriginal Center members at my college recently did a public dance show in the main lobby just last week. It was glorious. God that must hurt their throats though, singing like that.
