I hate how some people can just walk by a noisy train without even acknowledged it! The desperate vehicle was clearly shouting "Look at me" with her beautiful K5LA and he just Ignores it just like that... -_-
@TheDylanJoyce Haha. I was actually sort of thinking of that earlier, a train horn vs a car horn. If you hear a car horn half the time odds are the driver is just pissed off, but if you hear a train horn you automatically think run because it's going to be a long wait when it generally isn't true. No matter how loud or tuned the horn is it'll always be that way.
@Andrewsaxamophone another thing is, i live near an 1,100ft Radio guyed tower! those things are freakin tall, i'm afraid to just be standing outside on the street with that thing there and i saw a lady walking her dog and didn't even glance at that thing. it is taller than MOST buildings typically get in a city! some people can just ignore the most interesting things! it's almost like. What is interesting to them???
fuck them quite zones like honestly, ok, if we hit a car we are not liable for the car and the person at all for we are supposed to be quite, like you live near a railroad quite zone go fuck your selves because the railraod was here first
LOL...wow...it appears this is on the increase...and personally I don't mind it one bit. The engineer I saw did it more craftily in Sugarland and made it blend in with the phony horn they use at the gates.
ha, that's cool! i luve amtrak :D we got a quiet zone here, too, it's a route that is passed by 2 freight trains a day, not more, but many ungatet crossings. but last month there was a diesel excursion, and the engineer screamed out of the window : "fuck your quiet zone, where for we have a horn?" and then he kept blowing the horn about 2 mins. that was so cool! all the people (many old ones) were shouting. LOL. but it was great :D
